Free Online Baseball Simulation Game – Be the Manager You’ve Always Wanted to Be
Have you ever dreamed of being a baseball manager or general manager? Pennant Chase is the ultimate free online baseball simulation game, where you draft players from history, manage lineups and pitching rotations, and compete against other fans in realistic simulated leagues.
How to Get Started
Getting started is easy. Create a free account from the homepage, or if you’re already a member, log in using the upper right corner. Once signed in, click “Join League” in the blue navigation bar.
You can join a fast-paced Auto League or try a creative Custom League run by a commissioner. Auto Leagues feature player sets from different eras—plus our fan-favorite Favorite Teams leagues, where you can build a roster using four different years from your favorite franchise. Custom Leagues let commissioners design leagues from scratch, often with fun and imaginative twists.
Simple to Learn, Deep to Master
Pennant Chase was built to capture the fun of baseball simulation without overwhelming players with excessive stats or spreadsheets. Every game result is determined by real baseball statistics from history—so if Babe Ruth or Ichiro Suzuki are on your team, their real-life performance shapes your success.
The system is designed to be easy to play but rich in strategy. Whether you’re tweaking bullpen matchups or scouting for hidden gems, you’ll find layers of depth without needless complexity.
Play for Free—No Hidden Costs
Pennant Chase offers everything you need to manage up to 30 teams completely free. Fans who support the site through optional donations can expand to 100 teams.
No subscriptions, no pay-to-win gimmicks—just baseball strategy, stats, and fun.
Built by One Fan, For Fans
Pennant Chase is run entirely by a single web developer and lifelong baseball fan, who also works a full-time job. Despite that, the site has grown to offer the depth and polish of paid games that charge $40 or more per team. Since the first season in 2008, tens of thousands of simulated leagues have been completed, all powered by the passion of an active, supportive community.
You can also manage your teams on the go using the iPhone and Android apps or the mobile web version.
