I am as good a baseball manager as John Madden...NO...Not Joe Maddon, the genius who managed the Cubs to their first WS win in over 100 years... JOHN MADDEN, the former NFL coach and longtime broadcast partner on Monday Night Football back in the day. My lineup selection appears to have come from one of the FBI's 10 Most Wanted Lineups. If only my pitchers could bat... I would have a good excuse! My Husky (Cheyenne) is my bench coach, and he rarely earns a treat for a win...because there are so few with me at the helm. He also gives the grounds crew fits by digging holes all over the infield. But I digress...
Truth is... I LOVE Pennant Chase and wish I wasn't such an old fart so I could be around longer to watch new managers get to beat my sorry ass. Hopefully Santa can brighten my outlook and bring me my wish for Christmas...one good bowel movement. If you read my chatter this far...you are clearly a Pennant Chase junkie. Seek help!
