Resting players in Custom Leagues

I always select the "allow computer to rest tired players option". What happens if you select no? Is there a higher likelihood of injury? Does performance decrease?

I've accidentally clicked on No Rest - you don't want to do it. Mostly, performance goes WAY down.

I never tried it. I just noticed somebody in one of my leagues doesn't seem to be resting players. He's in 1st Place. So it made me wonder.....
