Single A

I am preparing to start a new "Single A" league in a few days.

Single A will be a combination of three leagues (California, Carolina and Florida State) with 30 teams and three separate league championship playoffs followed by a Champions League-style tournament with 12 of the top teams from the three leagues to decide the overall champion.

Since the leagues are Single A, all players will have real stats limited to .700 OPS and/or 10 HR for batters and 1.50 WHIP for pitchers. Players that progress beyond these limits will be "promoted" (retired). Players that surpass certain statistical levels (compiled) in a given season will be "promoted" (retired), too.

(At the moment, the league is under a different name and using a completely different format, so do not be alarmed when you visit and find that there in unrelated league in progress.)

Once the final season of the current league finishes in a few days, I will set up the new "Single A" league and assign owners to the teams they have requested.
