League Rules

Rosters and Players-
Rosters will have maximum of 26 in majors and 12 in minors. You must maintain minimum of 11 batters and 9 pitchers in your major league roster as required by the sim.
Each team in year one will start with 36 players. These players were imported randomly from a pool of players by team from 1970-2024.
Contracts and Budgets -
There are no contracts and no budgets in this league. You keep players until you drop or trade them or they retire at age 40.
Free agents -
This will be made of just filler players or released players.
New players -
At the beginning of each season (after year 1). Three players will be randomly imported from each franchise into an holding team. Owners will have 48 hours from the time they are notified their players have been imported to select up to 2 of the players to be added to their team. If you exceed your team roster size you will have to drop some guys.
Player movement -
Players can be released or traded at any time. If any collusion or tanking is evident, penalties will be imposed (such as loss of new player imports) or owners removed.
Player development -
Players have been imported randomly by the sim, based principally on WAR. However, you will have the option to change any player ONCE to a new season, where he played for your franchise, by sending a PM to the commish during the offseason. Once the player has been changed to a new season he can never again be switched. All players have been assigned the classic tag and will progress accordingly, where they improve up to age 28, stay the same through 31, and then will begin to regress at 32. You may choose your season change at anytime, but no player may have more than 20 years played in his career. Also, if you choose
to switch to a season where the player had worse stats then you must send a justification along with your request for the season change.
General in-season info-
We will use 5-man rotations in this league. Approximately every 10 days all teams will be granted 1 PC day off during the 162 game season. Players will fatigue and get injured. There is no trade deadline. Commissioner reserves the right to veto lopsided trades.
Playoffs-
There are 2 leagues each with 2 divisions of four teams. Playoffs will have 2 rounds. First, the top teams in each division will play a best of 5 series and then the winners will play a best of 7 series across leagues. If there are any ties then I'll sim a 1-game head to head. Two days off will be granted between regular season and playoffs. One game off will be granted after game 4 of both series and between series.
Awards-
All awards will be selected by the sim.
