5. Any players without stats in the new season will need to be dropped (Drops then turn off)
6. Owner is responsible for notifying commish of any Hold players
7. Commish moves Hold players to Holding Team
8. Commish retires players without any future seasons
9. Draft takes place (Number of rounds to be determined each season)
10. Drops turned on
11. Waiver rounds run prior to season start
12. Owners set roster/get down to roster limits
13. Commish imports following season's draft class (Number of rounds announced)
14. Opening Day

Standard Season Timeline:
1. Opening Day
2. All Star Break (Day 100) - 4 days of rest granted
3. Trade Deadline (Day 130)
4. Postseason (determined by current year's playoffs format in real life)
5. Awards granted
6. Offseason begins

1. Rosters
- Teams will have a 25-man Major League roster and can carry up to 5 players on their Minor League roster
- Players will always play on that current season's Real Stats. Minimum requirements for real stats are 100 ABs for hitters, 85 IPs for starters and 35 IPs for relievers.
- All players will retire once they no longer have Real Stats to change to (or fall below threshold)
- Imported players each season will be based on minimums of 100 ABs for hitters and 25 IP for all pitchers
- Since we are using Real Stats, there will be no position changes

2. Hold Players
- If a player will not have Real Stats in the new stat change season, but will in future seasons, the player's current owner may choose to "Hold" him
- Hold Players will be moved to a Holding Team for the duration of time that they don't have Real Stats and are returned to team once they do
- Example: Justin Verlander will be on a team for the 2022 season. He did not play in 2021 or 2020. His owner may choose to Hold him until his return in 2019
- Owners MUST be responsible for this as the commish will not check this for teams

Draft
- Number of rounds per draft may change from season to season
- Draft order will be set by previous season's regular season standings (worst record gets #1 pick)
- Tie-breakers will be head-to-head record, followed by run differential, followed by Power Rankings

Adds/Drops
- Players can be added in season through the waiver system. 1 player may be added per league day
- Waivers will be based upon Team Strength
- Drops will only turn off during the draft

Trades
- Trades are unlimited
- Draft picks can only be traded for one season's draft at a time and picks may not be traded for a draft until the following year's draft class has been imported and the number of rounds has been announced
- All trades should be completed through the trade machine
- If draft picks are traded, the trade will not be confirmed until the team trading away the pick notifies the commissioner
- If a trade cannot be completed through the trade machine (player for pick only for example), then both teams must email the commissioner
- Teams trading away draft picks must notify the commissioner within 48 hours of the completed trade. If not, the trade stays as is or either owner can request it to be reverted
- The commish reserves the right to revert any trade that is egregiously one-sided. Don't prey on new/inexperienced owners

Inactivity
- Owners will be booted if they don't log in, don't stay active in league activities (stat changes, draft, etc)

Team Switching
- Owners may request to switch to a vacant team after the World Series only. If multiple owners request the same vacant team, the owner with the better record the previous season will be awarded the vacant team

Future Notes
- The league WILL contract to reflect real life (1998, 1993, etc) as there will not be enough players to support the extra teams. Any owner of the impeding contracted teams will have the option to switch to a vacant team. If there are no vacant teams, that owner may choose to stay on a waiting list.
