League Rules
This is a keeper league, using classic progressions and the ability to change stats to the current season. There are no contracts. Each year teams will acquire rookies through imports.===================================================================================

-Try to improve your team (no tanking)
-Be active, 14 days of inactivity may result in removal from the league
-Notify commissioner if there is going to be an extended leave of absence.

Players
- Classic Progression to age 28. Regression starts at age 32.
- Players with under 100 AB will have their stats doubled.
- Stats can be changed to current season.
- Retirement: Age 40, including rostered players
- Players who played past the age 40, will retire the season they retired in real life.
- FA will retire at the beginning of their year 40 season.
- Rostered players will retire at the end of their year 40 season.

Owners are forbidden from intentionally sabotaging players stats.
Definition:
An owner will be considered to have violated the sabotaging stats rule if...
1. An owner changes a players stats to the current season if the owner does all of the following...
a) Both the players Offence and Defence rankings decrease.
b) The decrease in the players overall ranking decreases by more than 10.
c) Within 30 days of the owner making the stat change, the player is dropped into the Free Agent Pool.
Should it be determined that a players stats have been sabotaged the following steps are to take place.
a) The players stats are to adjusted my the Commissioner (within PC limitations) to the original stats.
b) A player on the team that committed the sabotage will have a player of equal or greater overall ranking of the dropped players original rank, suspended for a period of 100 game days. The suspension will be applied via injury.
c) Repeat offenders risk being removed from the league.

Roster Limits: Majors 25, Minors 10
*Import Minimums: 100 AB, 50 IP
1981 - 1991 - 100 AB, 35 IP
1980 - 75 AB, 30 IP
1977 - 1979 - 50 AB, 25 IP

1. Rookies will be imported to their respective teams in accordance with playing minimums.
a) In a case where a rookie has played on multiple teams, player will go to team with most playing time AB/IP
2. Players can swap their primary and secondary position or select a position they played during the current season.
3. Pitchers can switch between SP and RP if their WHIP is above 1.30.
a) SP --> RP; Stamina will be cut in half
b) RP --> SP: Stamina will double (minimum stamina: 60)

Post Season
1 day off between end of season and Wild Card game. Wild Card winner plays division winner with the best record.
There will be a 1 day off granted for travel days during playoffs. 2 days off will be granted at the end of each series.
Playoff seeding: (1) Division Winner, (2) Division Winner, (3) Division Winner (4) Wild Card Winner
Tie Breakers: (1) Division Winner, (2) Best Record, (3) Head to head record, (4) Run Differential, (5) Runs Scored
In the event of a tie for the division title or last wild card slot, a 1 game playoff will be played. Home field advantage will be determined based on the tie breaking formula. The tie breaker game(s) will be included in the count of off days, at the end of the season.
In the event of a more complicated tie breaker MLB rules will be used to determine which teams play each other.

Supplemental Draft
Teams will drop to 35 players after imports, before a 3 round supplemental draft takes place.
Teams not in compliance with roster size, will automatically have players removed from their team.

Stadium
Stadium Dimensions can be changed during the off season. It is requested that owners keep in mind, the actual stadium effects into account when making requests. (ie. Setting a hitters park to disadvantage)

Hall of Fame
The commissioner will select up to 4 players to be enter the Hall of Fame each season. (Beginning 1992)
*Qualifications for Eligibility:
-Retired/Not playing for at least 3 Seasons.
-Top 20 career leader in the following categories: R, H, HR, RBI, SB, D / W, IP, Sv, K, CG, SHO, QS, G
