League Rules
Welcome! This is a non-contract league. Upon joining, request your desired team in the chatbox. You will receive all the players that had 35 IP and 100 AB for your team in 2000. If a player played for 2 teams, he will go to the team he played for the most (as defined by AB or IP.)
Once the league fills, we will each draft a second team. Your two teams will not play each other, at least until the playoffs. You may NOT transfer players from one of your teams to the other. This is a boot-able offense.
Player acquisition: You will get imports every year (minimum 35 IP and 100 AB). You may trade as much as you want between one of your teams, and somebody else’s team. Stat changing will be allowed, unlimited, with 35 IP and 100 AB as the minimum. (If you stat switch to a year where you DON”T meet those minimums, your player will be dropped for the year. Wherever he is re-imported is where he goes next season.) Waiver claims will be allowed once the season starts
Beginning 10/9/24, anyone can question the fairness of a trade, and forward a review request to the trade review committee. BabeRuth21, 54Pete54, and Rosilver will be the members of this committee, and majority rules. The Commissioner will oversee the performance of this committee. Requests to have trades reviewed must be made within 1 week or 30 games, whichever comes first.
League composition: There will be two 12-team leagues, each with 3 4-team divisions. A 162-game season will be used.
4-man rotations in 2000, and 5-man thereafter.
Minimums: 35 IP/100 AB
Playoffs elaborated: 8(!) teams make the playoffs. Seeding: rank playoff teams by record. Otherwise, you risk punishing the top seed. All 3 rounds are best-of-7.
Ties: If teams tie for a playoff spot:
⇒ If both teams would be “in”, use head to head record as a tiebreaker.
⇒ If one is in, the other is out, 1 game playoff (@ head 2 head winner)
GENERAL RULES: Each offseason, you can switch a SP to RP based on need. You can switch a player’s primary and secondary positions if they played 50% or more games THAT season at their secondary position, or at least a quarter of their games for their career at their secondary position. A DH can be switched to his secondary position as long as he has a fielding percentage.
Each player should only be on one team. If there are any issues about which team a player is on, it must be raised before the season starts. Once games begin, and a player has "been in uniform" for a game for a team, the right to appeal is quashed.
Beginning in 2001, Teams must be down to roster limits by game 1. After game 2, Commissioner will fix any roster not in compliance.

Imports: Your next years players will be imported on your roster as long as they are not already in league.
