New FA pages
Re: New FA pages
Some people have reached out because they’re struggling with how wide the table is on wider screens. I’ll be looking into it and see what I can do. While I like the up/down arrows, they do cause the table to be a little wider so might need to find a different solution to that.
Re: Re: New FA pages
How do you see the rest of a players stat line like dWar and progression? I'm sorry, I'm just not seeing it. Probably right in front of my face.
Re: New FA pages
You need to reduce your screen zoom factor when on that page. On my laptop, 80% brings everything into view, albeit at the expense of making it hard to see anything when you switch back to another page and find things shrunken. I'm guessing there will be a forthcoming fix to make things more user-friendly.
Re: New FA pages
@maverck11 you can scroll/slide the table if columns are hidden.... but, I just tightened things up a bit, I think the spacing is now more aligned with what it used to be... but I would be interested to hear if people are seeing fewer columns than they used to... I have a decent sized screen (about 1600 pixels wide) and I still couldn't see all the columns, which doesn't make sense... I think with the updated spacing all columns should fit on most desktop/laptop screens.
If you use zoom, you probably have to scroll the free agents table to see the last columns. The nice thing is the player names should stay locked, so you can more easily see which stats go to which player. I would think zooming on the old design probably required some scrolling as well though?

Re: Re: New FA pages
@gbacci the FA table I see only has players' first initials and not first names. Is there a way to adjust this?
Re: New FA pages
Gotta say the former design's quick links for choosing player position and/or RP/SP was a lot easier than drop down menus to select the FAs desired.
Drop downs clearly work better for adjusting to screen sizes, but going to a drop down to select the other pitchers' category feels like a drop-down too far.

Re: Re: New FA pages
Didn’t realize quick links were that beloved but I’ve heard from a couple people they are. They wouldn’t be that hard to bring back.
@pjrosen I’ll look into the last names. There are still some further tweaks I’d like to do to these tables.

Re: New FA pages
While the player name-lock has its benefits, it's causing too many issues right now, and I have to roll it back and go back to the typical "scroll the whole table" setup. (The name-lock option does limit the number of stats you can see at once on a small screen, so it's arguable not a better option anyway.) Maybe at some point I can offer it as an option, but most people seem fine with scrolling the table. On bigger screens I've reverted back to the player's full name being listed as well.
