On Fire
On Fire
It would be cool to see how many games a player was on fire in the compiled stats section. It would be even cooler to see their stats when on fire vs their stats when not on fire.
Re: On Fire
Would also be nice to see how many consecutive games a guy is in Slump Buster, many times a 5 day maximum lasts 9-11 days
Re: Re: On Fire
I'm sure I'm missing something, but how can five games equal nine to eleven games? I agree that splitting stats by SB vs. non-SB would be helpful.
Re: On Fire
Sin means that if the guy's stats are low enough you can just keep putting him on Slump buster over and over again, sometimes all season long, especially guys with lots of HRs but really terrible batting averages. Sin hates that!
Re: Re: On Fire
In that case, wouldn't the player be in SB for # of games that's a multiple of 5 (5, 10, 15, etc.)?
Re: On Fire
slump buster is set in terms of real life days. It's a number from 1 to 60. So if the setting is for 1 day - depending on the settings of the league, that could mean 1 game or 12 (if it's sim every 2 hours). And as Gus said, low average guys can sometimes keep getting set and get however many more games each time. It would be nice to know if a player's random overachieving season was due to spending 43 games on Slump Buster or 20 games On Fire.
Re: On Fire
No, not necessarily. Only if you waited until he was finished SB before signing him up again. You can change the date on the same guy over and over, every day as long as he still qualifies. So if I put a guy on Slump Buster today, I can put him on again tomorrow and it will just extend his potential days/games.
