Halfway Mark
After a long dry spell, I finally crossed off my 15th Budget Fav Team. Still running 2 teams each of the remaining 15. The latest was the Pirates and I was tired of doing my conventional build for them and tweaking it slightly build to build, so I put together a high average with a lot of triples team. I didn't really expect to win with this team, just thought it would be fun to see how it played out.

It was a surprisingly easy, considering that was a really good Giants build. Sometimes excrement occurs 😉

You got that right !! This is what I have left, some I should be able to eventually win with, others - dumb luck will be part of the equation:
Arizona, Atlanta, Boston Detroit, Kansas City (might be the hardest), Angels, Miami, Minnesota, Mets, Oakland, San Diego, Seattle, Tampa Bay, Toronto, Washington (Nats).

Congrats! I'm at exactly 15 teams also. I think Toronto is gonna be the hardest one to win a ring with in the budget format. I haven't even been able to sniff the playoffs with them yet.

You can only run 2 teams at a time in each franchise, so it's a process. I've been trying a few different strategies, but KC, Miami and Toronto are not easy. Kudo to Rev for getting to 30 in the old format - I never did !!

Idk about your comment about KC being yhe hardest to accomplish. I've done a MIA build previously, and, umm... It didn't go well...... At all 😅

sheik you know that doesn't mean anything come playoff time! Watch my Giants will probably get swept in the LCS.

At my age I regularly forget things !! The curse is real !!! I'm currently playing the Yankees in the 1st round - it's 2-2 so far. Meanwhile the Giants sit there waiting, getting fat and lazy 😉😉😉😎😎😎

Just had a Marlins team get lucky to get through Sheik's D'backs, Trulaia's Tigers, and go up 3 games to 0 in the WS vs. the Reds. Lost WS in 7 games.
The same Marlins build started the next season 2-15.
Didn't realize we could have only 2 builds per club at the same time. I was aiming to get to 30-30 before anyone else, but 2 builds at a time makes that significantly harder. So does having only 1-30, so far.

Bumping this thread up to confirm that, as predicted, my 110 win Giant team that sheik was so worried about got swept in the World Series!

Just lost with a 100 win Seattle team (4th try) to skooler's Houston team. I keep building good Mariners teams in the 95-100 win range and getting bumped in the playoffs. Building 5th Seattle team and trying again......

Just lost in playoffs with a 103 win Braves build to an 86 win Cardinals team (thanks Dukeblues !!). Can't do much more with the Braves besides being luckier in the post season........

Check off the Angels - now have Championships with 16 teams. This wasn't even my best build for the Angels, they went 85-77 in the regular season and had to win 3 playoff series.

Just proves that all you have to do is get in the playoffs then anything can happen. I got 2 in quick succession with the Nationals the same way. Also at 16 now...
