Issues with player search bar

It appears that players with spaces in their last name are causing problems with the player search bar. For example, in league 691 I searched for player Blake Slaughter Jr. The player appears in the auto-fill dropdown, but when you press the search button, this message appears: No players found with last name starting with Slaughter+Jr. and first name starting with Blake.

I know there was a similar problem regarding players with ' or " in their names awhile back. I'm wondering if the space is being read as a +, which is why it's spitting out the error code.
