Twins looking good in '65

Twins looking good in '65

Currently watching all the World Series games from 1965. I'm in the middle of Game 2 right now. Twins won game 1 by an 8-2 score over the hapless Dodgers and Don Drysdale. In the 4th Inning of Game 2, Jim Kaat hasn't allowed a Dodger hit. Things are looking great for the Twins. I don't remember them winning the Series in '65 but that could be because I wasn't born yet. The way they've dominated the first two games (so far), I can't imagine a scenario in which the Dodgers beat them. The Dodgers have no one other than Maury Wills and some guy named Sandy Koufax while the Twins have Killebrew, Oliva, Mudcat, Kaat, Bob Allison, Jimmie Hall, Don Mincher, and Zoilo Versalles, who looks awesome in the field and at the bat.

Thanks to fellow PCer willbhere for sharing the site that shows a whole bunch of old games. Here's a link to Game 2 of the '65 Series:

Looking forward to the Twins dominating the rest of the way! I'll bet they do. Anyone want to take that bet? Sheik? Anyone?
