WTH ?
I keep having these full screen ads pop up when I just click on any random tab. Not every time, but randomly. Anyone else? I'm using Chrome on a Lenovo laptop.

One of them that I’ve seen is from some company called Temu. I read an article about them and it turns out they’re a Chinese company with some nefarious business practices.

I’m getting the pop ups more and more on the I phone app. Almost every time I look at my teams or quick drafts. Ugggh

Yeah, I never complain about ads, but these full pagers are really disruptive.

Agreed. I keep getting Monopoly Go and you have to click the close button multiple times before it actually closes

I signed onto PC this morning, clicked the My League List tab - and got a full page ad 1st thing in the morning. I'm all for supporting the site and I donate regularly and I'm also sure that Guy will figure this out. It's a royal pain in the A_s though.......

I agree with everyone’s experience in this thread. I also get a frequent “white screen of death” on the app which I assume is caused by ads.
I hate to recommend this since it’d hit me in the pocketbook, but I think the annual league fee has been $20 since I started in 2020. Knowing the cost of everything else has risen lately, I’d be fine if the annual fee went to $25 or $30 if it means getting rid of some of those obnoxious ads.

I haven't been on here as long as a lot of guys but I'm a frequent user, and I'd be happy to pay a fee to get rid of the ads completely. I know you can pay to get rid of them for a few months but the "yearly" cost comes in well over $100 (and that's more than I would pay). And from what I've read in the past most of the income on the site comes from the ads. So to make up for that would cost a lot more than I think any of us would want to spend.
The banner ads don't really cause any problems as far as I can see. Really the main issue is the "Pop-up" type ads. They make any site unpleasant and when you are on a site like this where you are doing a lot of interacting with the pages it makes it very difficult. If we could pay a little extra to ban the pop-ups I think that would go a long way.

Just to clarify, if you sign up for the recurring $8/mo then you get ad-free for $96, under $100. :)
But believe me, I totally get it - there are not many things in life I pay $96 for annually. And the point Efrurman made is correct, there are not nearly enough "paying" users to keep the site going, ads make up the vast majority of the funds... but anyway, I don't ever want our users to deal with pop-up ads, I don't know what the extra revenue would be, but whatever it is it's not worth it to me.

I've spent $8 a month on subscriptions that I don't use nearly as much as I do PC (I'm on here for HOURS every day) - I just signed up for ad-free and it's heaven !!
