David Cone issue

auto league 233 best of 80's. i am wondering why he keeps getting pulled early from all his starts. his last 4 starts are 2/3, 1 2/3, 2 2/3, 2 2/3 he has given up 3,3,3 and 4 runs with 21,37,64 and 49 pitch counts. i have it set to pull starters at 5 runs. seems odd that he keeps getting pulled. he has not pitched well but not even close to pitch count. stamina is 116. i have had him previously in this league and he has been over 190 ip every time. any thoughts? just seems weird. my long man has 2x his innings in mop up duty. unfortunately, he is still short of slump buster, hopefully he can go 2 innings next start!! thanks

Seems like you have him set to be yanked after giving up 3 runs in the edit Starting Rotation section. That would be the only reason he is pulled after giving up 3 runs.

@RagingSol , i checked and my starters are at 5, he gave up 5 first 2 starts then keeps getting pulled early now. my other starters have given up over 3 and not getting pulled, it is just odd.
actually i just looked under rotation, i never knew you could adjust each pitcher individually, his was pull before pitch count. just seems weird he has been pulled so early in some games. hopefully this helps. thanks for the tip

Pulling Cone early would be about 90 pitches, so it isn’t that. What you’re seeing definitely was from him being set to come out after 3 runs. In all of his starts he has come out as soon as that 3rd run scores (sometimes it’s more because of a 2-3 run HR).

hopefully i fixed it, now all set to team default, wasn't even aware he was set differently
