League Rules
Welcome The Baseball Forever League Season 6***Nothing But the Stars***
DRAFT: 2 Round Draft - You need to keep your selections between 1933 and 2021. You will draft two different teams. One from the National and American leagues.
These will be the All-Star teams from the season you pick. You will be imported the team roster as it reflects on ESPN. In 1961 and 1962, MLB played two all-star games. Only one those games per league will be used. If you take the first game, you will post it as NL1 and of course NL2 if you decide to take game 2. Use the same for the AL games.
ROTATION: 5 man pitching rotation.
BONUS PLAYERS: No bonus players this season.
ROSTER: Roster size will be 30 players with no minors.
PLAYER IMPORTS: Each owner will keep 30 players. Your roster will be imported by the year of your all-star selection, which will be from Pennant Chase.
DUPLICATE PLAYERS: There can be no duplicate players on the same team or can there be one player on two different teams can have the same year. The team who drafts the player first get the rights to that player that year.
TRADES: Trades are always open regular season, post season, and pre-season. Owners can trade draft picks by going thru the commissioner.
SEASON: 162 games season, running. The games a day for days 1-9 and then 6 games a day there after.
PLAYOFFS: Top 8 teams will advance to the playoffs. All division winner will receive the top seating in the play-offs. The division winner with the best record or best differential in case of a tie, will get the number one seed.
Highest seeded team will always be the home time. In case of a tie, team DIFF will determine home team.
All playoff series will be 7 games. 2-3-2 format.
PLAYER HEALTH - No player injuries or endurance will be used .
SANDBAGGING - Do not attempt to place players outside of their primary or secondary positions, or you will see a high error rate. A non-catcher playing catcher will allow your opponent to steal bases at will. Sandbag at your own risk!
OWNER MUST STAY ACTIVE - The success of the league is dependent on owners being active. Any owner that has not logged-in in 14 days is subject to being booted.
