League Rules

🏈Mean Machine Professional Football

🏈Welcome to the Mean Machine! Intent of this league is a fun competitive league that allows for good competition.

🏈This league will feature 12 NFL teams

🏈Format
-2 Conferences with 6 teams in each
-2 Divisions with within each Conference with 3 teams in each.
-16 Games per season (10 vs teams in same Conference + 6 vs teams in opposite Conference).

🏈Playoffs
-8 Teams (4 in each conference).
-4 regular season winners in each Division (2 each conference).
-4 wild cards (2 each conference).
-Teams seeded 1-4 per their conference with better seed home team.
-Mean Machine Bowl will feature winners from each Conference Championship. Team with best record will be home team.
-Tiebreakers:
a) head to head
b) point differential from head to head
c) divisional record
d) divisional point differential
e) conference record
e) conference point differential

🏈No Contracts
-Teams may control a player until they trade them or drop them.

🏈Trades
-Teams may trade players and/or SLOW ROUND draft picks (Supplemental draft picks may not be traded).
-Trade Deadline = Week #9.

🏈No Free Agency

🏈Drafts
-2 round slow draft will be held each offseason. Draft eligible players will consist of new imports and free agents. Players will be a wide variety of ages and positions.
-Supplemental Rounds will be held following Slow Draft to complete rosters. Exact number of supplemental rounds will be announced each of season. 1 supplemental round per day will be held at an announced time.
-Draft pool will consist of current and/or historical teams and possibly some fictional rookies.
-Draft order determined by season record (worst record = 1st pick).

🏈Injuries & Fatigue
-Injuries and fatigue will be used in the league. Injuries will be set at a max of 6 games.
▶️Edited from 8 games to 6 games prior to season #4.

🏈Training is applicable in this league.

🏈Progression & Retirement
-Peak age will be set at 28 and regression begins at 33. Players will be retired at age 28+ if AV is 1 or lower and unsigned.
-All players will be classic potential for progressions.

🏈Stat Change
-Every off-season, historical players will make up a portion of the draft pool.
-A historical player will offer the opportunity to stat change to their next year. For example, a player is imported with 1981 stats. The player must play that season with his 1981 stats. However, the next year, his 1982 stats could be used. 1983 the following...etc.
➡️ADDED PRIOR TO 2001 SEASON
-2010 will be final year historical players will be added in the 2000s. Real stat change will not be possible for any year after 2010.
-After 2010, league will begin adding historical players from 1970. 1970s+ players will offer real stat change for their future progressions.
