League Rules
Welcome to the Basketball Junkies LeagueLeague Rules:
⛹️♀️ These are simple rules to make the league fun yet completive. You will own each NBA team before you can repeat any team. This give everyone a chance of have a chance at each team.
⛹️♀️ DRAFT -- We will be drafting for teams as soon as the league fills. FAVORITE TEAMS format, you select a franchise and build your roster based on a budget. Click the "Draft My Team!" link from your My Team page. (The "My Team" link is in the top banner, just below the website logo.) You will have 3 days in which to build your franchise after the completion of the draft. Each team will have 80 points budget to draft with with the following weaker team listed below with will have a budget of 85 points.
Grizzlies, Wizards, Pacers, Suns, Nets, Pelicans, Kings, Raptors, Hornets, Mavericks and Hawks. This I hope will help make these teams more completive in seasons to come.
⛹️♀️ TEAM DETAILS -- Team logos will be set by me.
⛹️♀️ SEASON START -- After the final team joins and drafts, games will begin soon, and you will be notified by email. Be sure to set your lineup, strategy and team details if you haven't done so already.
⛹️♀️ FINAL ROSTER SIZE -- When the games begin, the roster limit will be set to a final 14 (two of those players must be inactive). Only 12 players can be active for each game.
⛹️♀️ TRANSACTIONS, TRADES, FREE AGENCY, ETC. -- There will be no free agency or trading in this league.
⛹️♀️ TRAINING -- Training option will be set for 2 games.
⛹️♀️ INJURIES -- There will be no injuries or fatigue used in this league.
⛹️♀️ TIEBREAKERS -- Head-to-head match up will be used where possible, otherwise team with highest Power Ranking wins. In case of more than two teams, Power Ranking will be used.
⛹️♀️ POST-SEASON -- Top six teams make the play-offs with the top two teams getting a first-round bye. Teams will get re-seeded so the best team plays the lowest available seed in the second round. All series are best of seven.
⛹️♀️ QUIT LEAGUE -- Once a season starts, I ask you not to quit until your season is over.
⛹️♀️ NEXT SEASON -- All players will be removed from their roster a few days after the season is over. The league champ and award winners will be recorded in the user details. Users who have not logged in for 10 days are removed from the league and new owners will be invited. The draft ranking for teams will open up no sooner than three days after the finals. A message will be sent out with information on drafting.
