League Rules
This will be a contract league with contracts, budgets and FA Bidding.The 12 favorite teams of 1909 will make up the league. The rest will make up the free agent pool with young players.
Before the first season only, expect a short draft, where the order reverses after each round.
Following the draft, free agency will open on a first come, first served basis.
Rosters will be 25/15
Budgets will be $125 per team
There will be 35 keepers per team allowed.
4 man pitching rotation
Max contract: 11 years. When the contract expires, the player enters the free agent pool.
Initial Season:
Minimums: 10 IP, 50 AB
Low AB/IP players will be edited or have their stats doubled so they can be progressed next season per PC
Subsequent Seasons:
Minimums: 20 IP, 75 AB
No prospects, tagged players, or spring training in this league
Divisions, games, and playoffs:
There will be 3 divisions of 4 teams each comprised of the first 12 teams chosen by incoming owners. 3 division winners and 1 wild card will make the playoffs. Each series will be 7 games. This keeps teams involved and competitive late into the season. There will be 165 games played, so that each team plays the other 11 teams in their league an equal number of times (15), to make division and wild card races fairer.

OFF SEASON DUTIES (in order):
Classic progression after world series.
Owners can choose 3 players to have their stats switched from last season?s progressed stats to the next season?s actual stats. Message commissioner with your choices. (You have until the start of the season to submit these names) 150/75/40 will be the minimums for stat changes (AB/IP for SP/IP for RP)
Imports: Your next years' players will be imported on your roster as long as they are not already in league.
Min ABs: 100 AB IP: 35 IP
Advancement of contracts.
Free agent bidding: UPDATED - Free Agent bidding is now done via open bidding on the league chat. It will begin after the advancement of contracts and will be announced via email. The FA bidding will remain open until the last bid was made 24 hours previously. If, in the judgement of the commissioner, there are 3 or fewer players actively being contested, he reserves the right to call for final sealed bids and end the auction. You should bid in the following format. (pos) (name) ($)/(yrs)=(Tot $). You may not exceed 11 years. You may not bid on a player if you do not have an available roster spot or enough money.
