League Rules
Welcome! This is a 2019-future league with 24 teams in the 6 divisions. We'll start off with 2019 rosters with computer-generated rookie draft every year after the first season.Season- 162 game, randomly generated, schedule. Division winners earn a playoff spot as well as 2 wildcards per league. All-Star break at 81st game.
Playoffs- Wild card games, followed by best of 5 divisional round, best of 7 league championship, and best of 7 World Series.
Budgets/Contracts- Teams have a 250$ budget, with 40 possible contracts, 25 in majors, and 15 in minors. Players must be signed in the majors *by the end of the playoffs*, players in minors do not have to be signed as long as they do not play in the majors. Teams may sign one player per year to a contract extension.
Progression- Players in the majors progress once a year, after the season is completed. Players in the minors progress twice a year. Players stop progressing at 29, and start regressing at 31.
Offseason- Blind free agency, followed by 3 round draft.
