League Rules

This is a keeper league, using real time progressions. There are no contracts. Each year teams will acquire rookies through imports.

Rosters

Roster Limits: Majors 25, Minors 5

1. Before the start of each season after progressions are run, you may request position changes. Position changes must be submitted by the deadline designated by the Commissioner (after waiver round, before the first pitch)

2. A Position player can change their position under the following circumstances...
a) Select a position they played during that particular season.

b) Swap their primary and secondary position.

c) If a players secondary position is IF (1B/IF, 2B/IF, SS/IF, 3B/IF), they may change their primary position to any IF (not C) position. The secondary position cannot remain as IF and it must be a position they played that season.

Pitchers can only switch if their WHIP is equal to or greater than 1.30.
d) RP can switch to SP (Stamina will be doubled) Minimum Stamina will be set to 60.
e) SP can switch to RP (Stamina will be cut in half)

3. If a player is going to miss a season, (stats under league minimum, didn't play), in order for his current team to retain his rights, they must play a single regular season game. If a team does not exercise their rights to retain a player, they will become a free agent upon their return to the league. If that player is a rookie (has no stats) they will be imported to the team they played for in the season they return to the league.

Post Season

1 day off between end of season and Wild Card games. Tie breaking games are considered regular season games.
There will be a 1 day off granted for travel days during playoffs. 2 days off will be granted at the end of each series.

Playoff seeding: (1) Division Winner, (2) Division Winner, (3) Wild Card Winner (4) Wild Card Winner

Tie Breakers: (1) Division Winner, (2) Best Record, (3) Head to head record, (4) Run Differential, (5) Runs Scored

In the event of a tie for the division title or last wild card slot, a 1 game playoff will be played. Home field advantage will be determined based on the tie breaking formula. In the event of a 3 or 4 way tie, the tiebreaker will fall in the format MLB used to use. Tie Breaker to determine A, B, C, D

Supplemental Draft

Teams will drop to 27 players after imports before a 2 round supplemental draft takes place.
Teams not in compliance with roster size, will automatically have players removed from their team.
Failing to reduce rosters and participate in the Supplemental Draft may be considered a violation of the 'Be Active' rule and could result in removal from the league.
