League Rules

COMMISSIONER: Gossamer

TEAMS: The player pool initially is made up of players from 1900 , 1950 , and 2000. The commissioner is also creating super star level rookies named after professional wrestling greats of the 80's and 90's. Whooo!!!! Each off season there will be a 1 round draft. Draft order is determined by standings from the previous season If you trade draft picks, commissioner needs to be informed by both parties. Do not trade draft picks more than one season in advance. Each draft will have up to five superstar level players.

DIVISIONS: 3 four team divisions.

ROSTERS: 27 majors and 10 minors. If you wish to keep all players each season, you may. Until they retire...

PROGRESSIONS: Progress until 30. Regress at 33

RETIREMENT: All players will retire at age 40, regardless of when they actually retired.

OWNERS: You are expected to be active. Keep line-ups current, use Slump-Buster to try and keep your team competitive and make changes as needed on injured players.
If you are going to be away on vacation or other reason for any long extended time, please PM the Commissioner and let him know and any instruction you might want him to do for you in you absence.
If an Owner is absent for an extended amount of time, without leaving any kind of notice with the Commissioner, I will contact the owner and if no response, the owner will be replaced.

CHEAP POP: Each off season, if an owner wishes...they can request a player get an extra boost in progression. Commissioner will add 5 hits, 2 HR, 5 stolen bases, and 5 to "Fire" to a position player's stats. OR 10 Strikeouts, minus 5 hits, 8 IP and 2 fire to a starter. OR 3 strikeouts, minus 2 hits, and 5 fire to a reliever OR subtract 1 error and add 0.25 to DWAR of one position player.

Gimmick: You are encouraged to personalize your team by requesting name changes for players. Nothing obscene please.

POSITION CHANGES: An owner can request up to 3 position changes for position players and 1 for pitchers, prior to Day 1 of a season. A secondary position can become primary and vice versa. You can also request a secondary position change to any position, but you must wait a full season before making the new secondary position a primary position. Example season 1 a player is SS/2B. Owner changes to SS/CA for season 2. Before season 3 you can change the player to CA/SS if desired.

A SP can convert to a RP. Stamina would be dropped significantly, fire would rise slightly. A RP can convert to SP, stamina would rise significantly, Fire would drop slightly.

ROTATION: Five man.

Postseason: Four team playoff. Winner of each division and 1 wildcard.

REALIGNMENT: Each off season the teams will be assigned to different division based on win loss record. Best team in one division, 2nd in the other. WWF = 1, 4,5,8,9 WCW = 2,3,6,7,10

TEAM DETAILS: Owners will be able to make changes to their ballpark settings each off-season before start of season.

SIMS: Every 5 hours, user sims will be used.

SLUMP BUSTER: 20 Days

CONDUCT: We are not marks here. There is no kayfabe. No heels or faces. Keep it respectful. No racisim, sexism, homophobia etc....and by golly no blading!

ALLSTAR GAME: We no longer run an all-star game due to expanding to three divisions. We still offer the ASG Award in off season. Team owners can pick one player to have one year taken off of age.

RULE ADDITIONS OR CHANGES: This is my first league. Please make suggestions and if they sound good we'll put it to a vote. Any rule additions or changes will be voted upon by the owners as a poll taking a majority of the vote to carry.
