Neither gbacci nor pennantchase.com are responsible for cash prizes, Venmo transactions, or any other aspect of Ca$h PC. Any dispute that occurs in "Ca$h PC" will be settled solely by ragingsol.
In CA$H PC, GMs do not pay to play, but, theoretically, (eventually) may cash out in USD.
LEAGUE SETTINGS
● This league is set for a higher Target OBP (330) than the recommended 325. And, elite SPs & RPs are set one notch above the recommended number, which means there are fewer elite pitchers than the sim recommends. The league is and will continue to be tilted slightly towards hitters.
SEASON
● 44-game regular season.
● Each team plays (almost) every other team 3x
● Regular season determines seeding of Championship Tournament
● Championship Tournament is double elimination
● A single day of rest for all teams before tournament.
● Tiebreaks for seeding for tournament:
● 2 teams with same record: head-to-head, run diff, runs scored, runs allowed
● 3 or more teams with same record: run diff, runs scored, runs allowed
BUY-IN & TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE
● 16 teams, each new GM is charged a $24 buy-in
● Before each Championship Tournament, each GM is charged a Tournament Entry Fee (amount depends on rivalry results)
● Winner of a season series between rivals pays a $1 Tournament Entry Fee.
● Loser of a season series between rivals pays a $3 Tournament Entry Fee.
● Any GM who did not pair with a rival pays a $7 Tournament Entry Fee.

CA$H OUT
● If a GM's bank gets to (-$82 to -$88), the GM is removed the from league.
● Theoretically, when a GM leaves league, if their bank's ca$h balance is positive, GM will be paid that amount in USD by Commish. Allegedly.
PROGRESSIONS/RETIREMENT
● Any player currently 20 or younger will progress.
● Any player currently 21 will retire.
PLAYER SELECTION
● Each off-season there is a 5-Round Draft of all available FAs, including incoming 18 year-old Freshpersons.
● A lottery is run to determine draft order.
● Lottery odds are determined by tournament finish, with higher finish getting better odds to draw a higher draft pick.
● The draft is 3 rounds in lottery-results order, then 2 rounds in the reverse of lottery-results order.
● Any "User List" or "Auto-Pick" in the draft can be changed only before the next GM drafts a player. As soon as the next GM drafts, there is no opportunity to change the draft pick.
● Exception: If a GM's "Auto" picked player is 20 or 21, that Auto picked player can be changed within 72 hours.
● 3-round supplemental draft is run within about 48 hours of completion of FA Draft.
● Supplemental draft is in reverse of lottery-results order.
● Free Agency -- with waivers -- is turned on after the Supplemental is complete.
● Waivers is only on for the first three to five games of the season.
● A single player can be selected via waivers after each game.
REDSHIRTS & TRANSFERS
● Each season, each GM can redshirt two 18 year-olds.
● Redshirts cannot play in any regular season or tournament games; any game action whatsoever (pinch run, et. al) voids redshirt status.
● Redshirts must be submitted to Commish before a season's Tournament starts.
● Redshirts' ages are reduced to 17.
● A player can only be redshirted one time.
● Each season, each GM can transfer out (a.k.a. have Commish retire) a max of two players.
● Transfers must be submitted before a season's supplemental draft is run.
GAME-PLAY
● ROSTER REQUIREMENTS:
● 25 "major league" roster spots, 5 "minor league" roster spots.
● 5-man rotations.
● All teams are required to carry a minimum of 2 RPs.
● SIMS
● Regular Season: User or CPU Sims every 8 hours.
● Tournament: Two games a day. User Sims every 8 hours, unless the Commish is unable to maintain that schedule for personal reasons.
● DAYS OF REST:
● Regular Season: Zero days off.
● Tournament:
● A day of rest is earned by teams in the winner's bracket when only the loser's bracket is playing games.
● TRADES:
● Two trades allowed during each regular season.
● Only 1-for-1 trades allowed.
● No trades allowed during tournament.
● 21 year-olds cannot be traded.
● The Commish can reverse any trade deemed inequitable for either trade partner.
● INJURIES:
● No injuries
● SLUMP BUSTER:
● Slump Buster unlimited during the season and tournament.
● SURPRISE BUNT:
● Surprise bunts set to "Balanced."
● FATIGUE:
● Fatigue off.
● PARK EFFECTS:
● In Park Effects a single fence can be moved a single step away from "No Effect"
● Big Boost and/or Big Disadvantage cannot be used
● Any violation of the "Park Effects" rule is fined $1 for each game the fence was illegal.
● Park Effect can only be changed after last pitch of tournament and first pitch of the current season.
TWISTS, TRYSTS, & GISTS
SEXY BEAST and ZEN MASTER
● Sexy Beast: After 14 games, the team closest to a 6-8 record and 68 runs scored will win that season's Sexy Beast.
● Tie break: Closest to 68 runs allowed
● The Sexy Beast wins $1.
● ZMGYP: After 44 games, the team closest to a 22-22 record and 0 run differential will wear the Zen Master Golden Yoga Pants.
● The ZMGYP wins $1 and peace in the soul.
● Ties for ZMGYP means no GM wins $1.
● A 22-22 record with a plus-1 run differential wins the ZMGYP over a 22-22 record with a negative-1 run differential.
● A 22-22 record with a negative 100-run differential wins the ZMGYP over a 21-23 record with a positive 1-run differential.
● If the ZMGYP achieves nirvana (22-22 record with 0 run diff.), the ZMGYP can instruct that any adjustable stat of any one player in the league be increased or reduced by one.
● Ties for ZMGYP in nirvana means no GM wins a stat adjustment. Two GMs feeling extreme peace and love is reward enough.
● ZMGYP instructions for stat adjustment must be declared, in chat, before the end of that season's tournament. Emails regarding instructions will not be honored.
● Hitters' Stats that can be adjusted: AB, Hits, HR, 2B, 3B, BB, SO, FIRE
● Pitchers' Stats that can be adjusted: IP, HA, BB, SO, FIRE
● Any instructed stat changes will be carried out by Commish after that season's tournament.
RIVAL
● What & When Declared:
● Each season, all GMs can have a single rival.
● Rival games are the 3 games each season between rivals; these 3 games determine the Tournamet Entry Fee.
● Rival Declaration Epoch: Valid rival declarations can only be made between the end of a tournament and the first pitch of the current season.
● Any declarations made outside the official Rival Declaration Epoch will not be honored.
● Rivals roll over to the next season unless:
● One of the rival GMs declares a different rival.
● One of the rival GMs is declared as a rival by another GM.
● How To Declare Rival:
● A rival can only be declared in the chat box on the league home page or in the chat box in the Draft Room.
● A GM can declare as many rivals as desired to try to lock down a single rival. The first opposing GM to reciprocate a declaration becomes the rival for that season.
● CASE STUDY: Straightforward Rival Declarations:
● Two GMs declare each other, in chat, as rivals.
● The GMs are locked in as rivals for that season.
● CASE STUDY: The Chain of Rival Declarations:
● Examples Starring: The '27 Yankees making declarations in chat...
● Ruth declares, in this order: "Gehrig," "Shocker," "Lazzeri."
● Then, Meusel declares, in this order: "Gehrig," "Shocker," "Lazzeri."
● Then, Gehrig declares, in this order: "Dugan", "Shocker"
● Then, Koenig declares, in this order: "Dugan", "Grabowski"
● Then, Dugan declares, in this order: "Lazzeri", "Shocker"
● Then, Shocker declares: "Gehrig"
● Shocker and Gehrigh are now rivals. They declared each other. Rivalry set.
● Then, Grabowski declares: "Dugan"
● Lazzeri does not declare a rival.
● Pipgras does not declare a rival.
● Results of Chain of Rival Declarations:
● Ruth and Lazzeri are rivals. Lazzeri did not declare, but Ruth was first to declare Lazzeri, and nobody declared Ruth.
● Koenig and Dugan are rivals.
● Gehrig declared Dugan before Koenig did, but Shocker declared Gehrig. Declaring each other was the force majure.
● Dugan declared Lazzeri, but Ruth declared Lazzeri first. Dugan declared Shocker, but Shocker declared Gehrig. Dugan is left with Koenig's declaration of him.
● Meusel, Grabowski, and Pipgras do not have an archrival. All three will pay the maximum Tournament Ante.
● Meusel declared three players, but all three were paired with archrivals, and nobody declared Meusel.
● Grabowski declared Dugan, but Koenig's declaration of Dugan came before Grabowski's, and nobody declared Grabowski.
● Pipgras did not declare, and nobody declared him.
● Valid/Invalid Rival Declarations In Chat:
● Valid declarations by Ruth (NYU): "NYU v USC" "Gehrig" "gehrig is my rival" "USC is my ar" "I'll take on USC." "Give me gehrig." "gehrig is mine."
● Valid declarations by Shocker (PITT): "vs. Ruth" "NYU is going down (on sheep)" "I'm in on NYU"
● Valid declarations by Gehrig (USC): "PITT" then "Ruth is weak."
● With these samples, Gehrig is now Ruth's rival, as they declared each other.
● With these samples, Shocker does not have an rival; Gehrig declared both, Ruth declared Gehrig, Shocker never declared Gehrig. If Shocker had declared Gehrig, Shocker and Gehrig would be rivals because Gehrig declared PITT first.
● Invalid declarations: "I declare everyone." "I accept." "I'll take whoever is left." "Whoever Shocker doesn't get, I'll take." "I like Ruth."
● The Commish will be final say in whether a declaration is valid or not.
