Completing Regular Season and Advancing to Post-Season
If you?ve finished your regular season and are ready for the post-season, there are a few things you?ll want to do (in this order):
- Add post-season games to your schedule. You?ll need to add games as you need them in order to sim your post-season games.
- Move season stats to historical archive. Before starting any play-off games, you'll want to save your season stats. Use the link on the Commissioner Tools page.
- Post-Season awards. After archiving stats, you can label your MVP, CY or ROY awards. Now is a good time to do this before you clear stats or overwrite them with post-season results.
- Award division title trophies. If you want, now would be a good time to award the division winners a trophy.
- Optional: Save draft order for next season. Now is the time to save your draft order for next season based on your regular season standings (assuming you do a draft in the off-season). On the "Save Draft Order" page you can quickly re-order based on teams' records
- Optional: Clear compiled stats. If you want to reset all stats to zero before your post-season, you can clear the compiled stats. Otherwise, post-season stats will be added to your regular season results. Either way, make sure you?ve archived your season stats already!
Completing Post-Season and Starting the next season
So your season is over and you?ve crowned a champion. Now you?re ready for the next season! Here are some things to do:
- Award your champion a trophy and ring (use links on Commissioner Tools)
- Clear compiled stats (via Commissioner Tools).
- Optional: Clear team rosters. This depends on how you run your league. If you re-draft each season, you?ll want to clear team rosters. If you are using the contract feature, contracts will be advanced and those players will remain on their teams.
- Clear Game Results (via Commissioner Tools).
- Optional: Apply Player Progression and Retire Players. (via Commissioner Tools)
- Delete playoff games from your schedule.
Now you?re ready to kick off another season!
All Star Genre (S29-37):
**Points Buy System to Replace Progressions**
- Owners will have more control of how to improve their team
- Adds another level of strategy to the game
--> Keep 5 players each season and sign them to one year deals
--> Boosted Keepers count 10 points per season to your cap if you choose to boost them
--> Playoff teams will then have 20 points to spend "Post Draft" (Call it Spring Training Bump)
--> Non Playoff teams will then have 23 points to spend "Post Draft" (Call it Spring Training Bump)
--> Each player may only be "Boosted" once per season. Ex. Can't boost both Batter and Fire on same player.
--> No pitcher position swaps (SP/RP) we are good in this genre to create a lineup and roster
--> Player position swaps are based off the following criteria
Trade Deadline
Game 120 will be the trade deadline
Playoff Tie breakers: W/L - - Head to Head - - Diff - - RS
Player adjustments: Each off season, teams may request a defensive positional change for up to 1 player. Defensive stats will be changed to reflect the player?s real life performance. Below is the criteria for a position player...
To qualify, the player must have:

2) If a player has the (IF) as a secondary position, the (IF) must follow 3 and 4 below
3) Played that position at least 33% of the games he played during his career; or
