Season Predictions

AL east

3-New York
5-Tampa Bay

- Boston has about 1 year left in championship window before they lost big names to FA or they age, Toronto has gone out and upgraded there rotation even more and they look great on paper, Yankees are still dangerous, Baltimore just needs pitching to help then compete and Tampa is rebuilding

AL Central

3-Kansas City

- the 2 time defending world champs are still team to beat in division but I think Detroit will give them a run this season, KC def upgraded there team but is it enough? I think they are still one year away from the playoffs, Minnesota and Chicago can surprise these teams if u sleep on them by far best division in the league

AL West

2-LA Angels

- Houston is aging and there window is closing but they are still the best in the West, LA has great hitting and decent pitching if they find an ace they can win it, Oakland improved while Seattle and Texas got worst

Wild card teams
2-New York Y

NL East

3-NY Mets

- Miami went out and upgraded there rotation this offseason behind Pedro and Washington added price to back up there two Aces and added a better catcher and Mets are still good but I give those two the edge, Atlanta has good hitting but there pitching isn’t the best might be time for a rebuild, Phillie also needs a rebuild

NL Central

1-St Louis

- Stlouis is best team in division but watch out for the reds they are coming, The cubs lost some pitching to FA but still have great hitting to contend, Milwaukee traded away some pieces but with 3 1st rounders they can replenish that farm system and compete, Pittsburgh is a lot better and with the right owner now and #1 pick they will compete in no time

NL West

1-LA Dodgers
3-San Francisco
4-San Diego

- Dodgers are still best team in league this is there year to win it all, Arizona has good rotation but hitting can’t compete, San Fran is better than last year but not ready to compete, San Diego is on the upward now and will only get better, Colorado needs to rebuild

Wildcard Teams

World Series - Dodgers beat Toronto in 5 Games

I am writing here in defense of myself and others who have figured out a way to have 2014 Jose Fernandez, 2015 Josh Tomlin, 2018 shohei ohtani and others to be used as starters.

First of all it's not like we have hacked the website or anything nefarious. I do agree that everyone should have the knowledge to use these players as starters.

However I'm getting tired of the negative feedback because these players are being used as starters. Tomlin started 10 games and has TWO COMPLETE GAMES. Why should he be a reliever? Shohei ohtani is an exciting new starter in the league and we want to simulate the season as if he were a reliever? So yes, people, including myself found the loop hole to make them a starter. However the are SUPPOSED to be starters. They definitely should have a very low pitch count, but I'll be damned if anyone can make the case that any of these types of guys should be relievers. Its NOT REALISTIC...and this game is supposed to simulate REALITY.

So please stop chastising those that know the loop hole. Here it is:

Draft a franchise team, then save it to be used later, the import that same team and those guys now qualify as starters. Its realistic and everyone should be able to do this.
