2026 PC (March) Madness Bracket
• Note that all series are a full 7 games. It is not "Best of 7". It is a full 7 games for all series, until the Final Four. There is not a way to change the "Best of 7" that shows on the bracket.
3/19/2026
Buzzer Beaters :: High/LowlightsDay 11 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1
• disturbed got 4 runs in the top of 9 on singles, walks, and WPs to flip the 2-run deficit to a 2-run lead and win to go up 3-1 in the BB series v. sleazye.
• paul21 and gbacci played bookend ball. paul21 went up 1-0 in the bottom of 1, then seven innings of shut-out ball from both teams took us to the 9th, with paul21 leading 1-0. gbacci scored 2 in the top of 9 to go up 2-1, including a pinch-hit single by Fears Jr (replacing defensive ace SS Ejiofor). But, paul21 tied it in the bottom of 9 when Fears Jr, staying in at SS, had a negative dWar play to allow the lead-off hitter on. paul21 went negative dWar single, pinch runner SB, intentional walk, walk, walk to score the tying run. In the bottom of 10 paul21 got a Ridder walk-off HR to win the game and tie the series at 2-2.
• 16 series. 11 are 3-1, 5 are at 2-2.
Day 10 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1
• sleazye, after Murauskas tied the score with a lead-off HR in the bottom of 9, got a walk-off hard single from Acuff Jr to score Anderson. sleazye needed the win to keep from going three games down to disturbed.
• chickenheads and revejb played their third 1-run game of the series, but chickenheads got this one with a bottom of 9 sequence: out, single, SB from pinch runner, walk, Braden Smith walk-off single on a negative dWar play from revejb's Boopie Miller. chickenheads needed this one to keep from going three games down.
• jsmathiot got a walk-off HR from Hawai'i, versus lasershow, with the Rainbow Warrior Rouhliadeff hitting a deep shot, batting first in the bottom of 9. A long road back in this 7-6 win, as lasershow scored 5 in the top of the first. Like the two walk-offs mentioned above, jsmathiot needed this one to keep from going three games down.
• glansgruber got a 3-run walk-off jack from Xavier Edmonds in the bottom of 11, to complete the comeback win. Down 9-4 going into the bottom of 6, glansgruber's pitching was lights out for the next five innings, while the batters did just enough to force extra innings before the walk-off HR vs rfb60609.
Day 9 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1
• pskeane may well be practicing walk-off HRs. After 2 walk-off deep flies in the first series, pskeane had Isaziyah Nelson jack a 3-run walk-off HR in the bottom of 11 to take game 2 from bush484; series tied at 1-1.
• chickenheads is running Heartbreak Ridge in the first two games versus revejb. chickenheads, holding multi-run leads after batting in the top of the 8th of both games 1 & 2, has watched the bullpen blow both leads, losing both games by a run. 19 runs scored for chickenheads in two games, but 21 scored for revejb to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
Day 8 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1
• ac_grumpy scored 3 in the top of 9, with two outs, to tie jaykuntz18. A walk, Malik Reneau triple, and 2-run Cruz Davis HR tied the score at 6 for ac_grumpy, then, in the 11th, Reneau hit a 3-run HR to give ac_grumpy the win in the opener of the Bounce Back series.
• coachpappy17 had SP Larry Johnson (17.05 ERA) give up 3 earned runs to yankeebb's first five batters, then got 9.1 innings of 2-hit shut-out pitching from 7 more pitchers. A Murauskas triple and Haugh sac-fly in the top of 10 put coachpappy17 up 1-0 in games.
• rainman's pitchers gave up a single unearned run to bragankelly11. Tarris Reed Jr, for rainman, has pitched 11.1 innings in three games, and is sporting a 0.79 ERA. Only 18 position players played during the 9 innings, a rarity in the tournament.
• skooler1 has earned a great stat for PCMM lore: RP Momcilovic is now 3-0 with 1.2 innings pitched. Eminem may have been able to put up similar numbers to skooler1's MM: 1.2 IP, 5.40 ERA, 2.40 WHIP, 18 H/9, 18 BB/9, 7.00 DICE, but 3-0 record.
Day 7, Game 7s! :: Round of 32
• Five critical Game 7s to bring in the ratings. A few of the exciting Game 7s were watched, start to finish, in the fancy Animated Replay.
• trjpacman v. jim2miller. A deciding Game 7. Heartbreak for trjpacman fans as, down 3-1 in the game, trjpacman loads the bases in the bottom of 9 with a double, walk, walk. But, 2022 Tourney Champ jim2miller got a stellar close-out from RP Mitchell, who, entering with the bases loaded and 0 outs, got out of the jam to deliver the series to jim2miller.
• glansgruber v. bhgray. A deciding Game 7. The drama in this Game 7 was in the tight score throughout, with the score tied or a lead of 1 the entire game. glansgruber gets an ideal performance from his *closer RP Allen ("Digs") Graves, as Graves buries the batters with 3 Ks in the bottom of the 9th. *The use of a closer is a topic which great PC players disagree on; glansgruber has a Game 7 win in support of how a closer can define the position: closed spelled with 3 Ks.
• jaykuntz18 v. jsmathiot. A deciding Game 7. Thrills galore! Top 9 and top of 10, jaykuntz18 had heartbreakers to keep from scoring a go-ahead run. Top of 11, Cooper hits a HR for jaykuntz18; bottom of 11, jsmathiot gets a two-out double from on-fire Edmonds and RBI single from C Wilkinson. Top of 12, jaykuntz18 gets a Dowd RBI single on a negative dWar play from SS Boozer; bottom of 12, jsmathiot gets a HR from that same Boozer to tie the score. Bottom of 13, jsmathiot gets a lead-off triple from Edmonds, then watches two get sat down before RF Reneau slaps a 2-out game-winning grounder into left.
• atsanbpinetti v. rainman. A deciding Game 7. atsanbpinetti, weathering a 33-5 deluge in the previous 2 games, comes out with a clutch tactical decision to have SP Lubin slotted in as LR. Lubin enters the game down 4-2, then Lubin tosses 5.2 innings of 4-hit shutout ball. But, Lubin needed help, as he doesn't have the stamina to close out the game... top of 9, leading 5-4, atsanbpinetti, with 2-outs and nobody on base, gets a walk, wild pitch, and Haugh single (for Haugh's 3rd RBI of the game) to go up 6-4, which was needed as rainman got a pinch-hit solo shot from Tavari Johnson before atsanbpinetti was able to close out the win with RP Graves and his 9.00 ERA.
• yankeebb moves into the Sweet 16, still in possession of the PCMM belt & chalice, plus a carved statue of a gator that was not part of the PCMM prize package.
• gbacci and chickenheads take hot clubs into the Sweet 16, both at 6-1. But, all series are at 0-0 for all teams, for the next round!
Day 6 :: Round of 32
• disturbed, down 3-2 in the series, got a solo shot from Dowd to tie the score, and, then, a walk-off 2-run HR from I-spell-an-already-difficult-name-to-spell-even-more-difficultly-zaiyah Nelson. disturbed forces a Game 7 vs. paul21.
• cardscoach v. pskeane. Six games, 4th walk-off HR as cardscoach ups the highlight ante with a walk-off Grandslam from Cruz Davis to win the game 9-7.
• rainman, down 3-2 in the series, unleashed another tsunamai on offense. After winning 15-3 in Game 5, rainman's line-up put up 18 in Game 6. After going 1-12 in the first five games, SS Murauskas cranked 3 HRs to pace the rain-O. rainman won games 5 & 6 by a combined 33-5. atsanbpinetti had room to waiver, though, after racing out to a 3-0 lead in the series. 3-3 tie, on to Game 7.
• fantasytease v. bush484. fantasytease scored 14 runs with a lone extra-base hit (a double in the third inning). 15 singles and 4 BBs. bush484 got a 5-5 with 3 HRs from his lead-off Xavier Edmonds, in a classic PC on-fire game. fantasytease leading 12-10 into top of 9, and bush484 gets back-to-back-to-back HRs from his 9-1-2 hitters, then plates two more runs to hold off fantasytease with a 15-14 win. bush takes the series.
Day 5 :: Round of 32
• They did it again. pskeane and cardscoach are pushing the broadcast rights up for their franchises. A 3rd walk-off HR for a win in the 5 games played, this walk-off HR another for pskeane, to ensure a series win.
• rfb60609, after giving up a 3-run lead in the top of 9 by virtue of his RP Conwell (0.2 BB/9) giving up 2 walks and 3 singles, got a walk-off double from 2B Sandfort to lead the series 3-2.
Day 4 :: Round of 32
• guspc13 keeps everyone involved, using 39 players (28 position, 11 pitchers) in 10 innings against chickenheads. Down 7-0 going into the 7th, gus took a 9-8 lead into the bottom of the 9th. But, chickenheads ties it in the 9th, and, in the 10th, two pinch-run SBs by Kingston Flemings and a wild pitch pull the win out for chickenheads.
• gbacci is camped out in the highlights vs. sleazye. Down 7-5 going into the 9th, gbacci gets a solo shot from 1B Boopie Miller, and a 2-run blast from DH Cruz Davis (his 2nd HR of the game) to eek out the 8-7 win. sleazye outhit gbacci 15-8, but stranded 10 in the 1-run loss.
• bragankelly11, down 3-0 in the series, and 6-4 into the bottom of 8 vs. jimgriddy, plated 2 runs in the 8th, and walked-off the win with a lead-off HR from his lead-off batter, 3B Edmonds.
Day 3 :: Round of 32
• This year's top grossing film "The Offense" starring gbacci & sleazye continued to lead the box office. A 12-10 game, with gbacci scoring 4 in the 9th to win. These teams have scored a combined 66 runs in 3 games.
• pskeane, down 8-4 going into the 9th, got a 2-out RBI single from 3B Burries, then a 3-run HR from CF Peterson to tie the game. But, cardscoach got a walk-off 2-run bomb from 3B Thornton, for this series' 2nd walk-off HR in a row, one for each GM.
Day 2 :: Round of 32
• Two RPs let paul21 down, both giving up 3 earned runs in the 9th, reversing a 5-run lead. disturbed's SS Nelson clocked a bases clearing 2-out double to put disturbed ahead by 1, for the win.
• pskeane & cardscoach traded 9th inning bombs and leads, with pskeane's catcher Wilkinson jacking a walk-off 2-run HR for a 15-14 barnburner.
Day 1 :: Round of 32
• gbacci & sleazye combined for 37 runs, with gbacci putting up three TDs and a field goal. gbacci's 1B Bruce Thornton went 6-6 with 2 HRs and 6 runs scored. The middle of gbacci's order (4-5-6-7) combined to go 20-24, each with 4 RBIs, and a total of 17 runs scored.
• glansgruber had two SPs combine for a shutout, with an efficient 114 pitch game for the best non-fire pitching of the day.
• Two #1 seeds needed bottom-of-the-ninth comebacks to take game 1, a third #1 seed needed 2 in the bottom of the 8th to pull out a win.

Game Play to Know
• At least 18 players must be in minors, for games to sim.
• Slump Busters are set to unlimited
• There are not days off during the series. Between rounds, only, all teams get 5 days off.
• There are not "elite" players in this league; you will not see bold-faced players on any roster .
• The HR stat counts in the pitchers' stats
• Stadium dimensions can be adjusted game to game, if you wish.
• Pitchers face a minimum of 1 batter.
• The Free Agents are identical to your team. FAs are not available, of course; they are just for reference to keep you from going googly-eyed looking at long lists of players.
