There were so many fantastic finishes in the tournament, the press crew couldn't keep up, but the finals story wrote itself with bush484 putting together a fantastic line-up and excellent strategy to leave no doubt who the best team was in the 2026 PC (March) Madness tournament.

Thank you to all participants and congratulations to bush484 for a resounding victory!

Buzzer Beaters :: High/Lowlights

Day 55 :: The 2 Unbeaten & BB Rd.7 :: Game 6

Day 54 :: The 2 Unbeaten & BB Rd.7 :: Game 5
• paul21 uses only 9 hitters, no pinch-runners, no pinch-hitters, no defensive replacements. 9 strong. paul21 leads 7-6 into the bottom of 8, then goes HR, single, single, single, pop out, single, ground out, walk, double. 6 runs plated. SP Tre Hill, for bush484, gets the dubious 6 Earned Runs to balloon his ERA from the tawdry 12.71 to the obscene 19.89. paul21's 13 runs hold up and he leads the series 3-2.
• revejb leads fantasytease 5-3 into the top of 9. fantasytease has Dowd hit a bloop single with a negative dWar play, before making two quick outs. 2-outs, down 5-3, fantasytease gets a Peterson single and Fuller double to clear the bases, scoring two runs to tie the game. 5-5 into the bottom of 9. revejb gets a lead-off Boopie Miller walk-off HR. Game. revejb wins to go up 3-2.

Day 53 :: The 2 Unbeaten & BB Rd.7 :: Game 4
• PCMM '26 has had 10 total shutouts out of 784 opportunities (392 games, so far). Pitching staffs with shutouts in PCMM '26: revejb, fantasytease, rfb60609, yankeebb 2x, jimgriddy, paul21, bush484, glansgruber, sincitymarauder. That is 1.28% of opportunities for a shutout. 2 in a row for this series. • revejb has 7 non-fire pitchers combine for a 4-hit shutout (without any dWar saves) of fantasytease, the highest scoring team in the PCMM. Series tied at 2-2.
• bush484 runs out his best SP of the tournament, in terms of ERA, SP Bryce Harris. Harris does his 3.1 innings of efficient work, and bush484's offense cranks out 19 hits and 11 runs. The 11-6 win evens the series at 2-2.

Day 52 :: The 2 Unbeaten & BB Rd.7 :: Game 3
• Lowest scoring day in PCMM this year. Two games, total, but a fact is a fact.
• There would be a bonkers reaction here, for a shut-out, if these teams hadn't turned around and done it again in the next game. fantasytease has four non-fire pitchers toss a 5-hit shutout, with the help of zero dWar saves. A 1st inning Acuff triple followed by a Peterson single (could be top two picks in the next NBA draft) was all the offense fantasytease needed to go up 2-1 in the series.
• In The 2 Undefeated, bush484 earns a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning on a Jeslin Nelson 2-run HR and Haugh double to score the surprise bunting 8-speed Edmonds. The lead holds up, with a key caught stealing in the top of 8... after Cruz Davis reaches on a 2-base error to lead off the inning, 10-speed pinch-runner Stirtz has the green light to steal 3rd on the plus-arm C Jamal Fuller. Cut down. The 27% CCS for Fuller holds the lead and bush484 gets a much needed win to get to 2-1 in the series.

Day 51 :: The 2 Unbeaten & BB Rd.7 :: Game 2
• revejb gets 4 HRs in the game, including 2 from Cruz Davis; a Brayden Burries double to score 2 in the bottom of 8 grabs a 9-7 lead which holds up. RP Graham Ike with 2 IP of 1-hit shutout ball for the revejb win. RP Graham Ike also with 1 IP of 2-run ball for the loss.

Day 50 :: The 2 Unbeaten & BB Rd.7 :: Game 1
• fantasytease leads 5-3 into the bottom of 9. revejb gets triple, K, single (for a run), Thomas Dowd HR for 2 runs. A dWar save by fantasytease helps keep the score tied 5-5. Top of 10, fantasytease scores 2 on a two-out Haugh double. Unofficially, fantasytease has more 2-out runs than anyone in the tournament. Lead is 7-5 into the bottom of 10. revejb scores 1, but his version of Haugh pops out to end the game.

• paul21 ends up with 14 hits to bush484's 8 hits, but the game is close to the end. paul21 leads 6-5 into the top of 9. bush484 gets a quick run on a walk and Haugh double, but strands runners on 2nd and 3rd. Tied 6-6 into the bottom of 9. paul21 goes bloop single, ground out... 10-speed Philon Jr advances to 2nd base. Cruz Davis singles to centerfield... the 3rd base coach holds Philon Jr at 2nd! De Ridder strikes out for the 2nd out. Defensive replacement 1B Michael Cooper brings his .279 RS average to the plate and smacks a deep single into left for the win. Cooper's 6th at-bat of the tournament for paul21, Cooper's 4th hit of the tournament for paul21, Cooper's 3rd late-inning game-winning RBI for paul21. Cooper is the kind of outlier that wins tournaments.

Day 49 :: BB Rd.7 :: Game 7
• revejb gets a Boopie Miller big game with a HR and double to have 5 RBIs and key the Game 7 win. rfb60609 unofficially led the tournament in tough late-inning losses, but this one got away early. revejb advances to BB Rd. 7.

Day 48 :: BB Rd.6 :: Game 6
• rfb60609 gets only the 2nd complete game of the tournament by any pitcher, and both happened to be his pitcher, the same pitcher: SP Patrick Wessler with an on-fire 5-hit, 1-walk, 8 K shutout to even the series at 3-3.

Day 47 :: BB Rd.6 :: Game 5
• rfb60609 gets multi-hit games from 7 of 9 starters to win 12-6, and get the series to 3-2 in favor of revejb.

Day 46 :: BB Rd.6 :: Game 4
• fantasytease gets 3-runs in the bottom of 7 to break a 4-4 tie. The lead holds up. RP Jackson Rasmussen for the win, and RP Jackson Rasmussen with the loss. fantasytease wins his 6th Bounce Back round, defeating 2022 PCMM champ jim2miller.

Day 45 :: BB Rd.6 :: Game 3
• fantasytease uses a 6-run 8th to put the game out of reach and go up 3-0 in the series.

Day 44 :: BB Rd.6 :: Game 2
• revejb down by 4 into top of the 9th. rfb60609's bullpen has not been helping the cause, except for the opponent's cause. rfb60609 gets 2 outs with a line out and K with 2-runners on, but a Wilkinson negative dWar single scores a run, a Haugh single scores a run, and a Thomas Dowd double scores 2. Score tied at 9-9... the 10th and 11th actually have solid pitching and defense. The top of the 12th has revejb get a bloop single, walk, walk, runner out at home on the force, strike out... bases loaded walk to score. The 10-9 lead holds up, with an on-fire Rasmussen pitching the bottom of 12 for the revejb save.

Day 43 :: BB Rd.6 :: Game 1
• revejb at rfb60609. Tied 6-6 into the bottom of 9. rfb60609 goes bloop single, pop out, bloop single, strike out, Cruz "Clutch" Davis 3-run walk-off HR.

Day 42 :: Final Four & BB Rd.5 :: Game 7
• fantasytease v. bragankelly. Series knotted at 3, game knotted at 4 into the bottom of the 8th. fantasytease has starting SS Murauskas line out for the first out. Then, the pinching starts. A PCMM special, with pinch-hitter Darryn Peterson reaching on an error by Darryn Peterson. Stirtz pinch runs for Peterson. Pinch hitter Flemings draws an HBP. Acuff Jr. safe on a surprise bunt. Bases loaded. 10-speed Stirtz out at home on a Haugh ground ball. 2-outs, bases still loaded. Then, fantasytease, after scoring 2-runs with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th, gets a Cruz "Cluth" Davis single to score 2-runs with 2 outs in the 8th. The lead holds up in the 9th for the win. fantasytease, after losing his first series in the Round of 32, wins his fifth Bounce Back series, the last three series going to 7 games.

• What in the world is this? Game 7 between lasershow and revejb to stay in the tournament. revejb leads 6-5 going into the top of 8. lasershow goes Davis single, Flemings reach on error, then scores a run on a Peterson single on negative dWar play. Then, single, walk, single, walk. Three more runs score. lasershow leads 9-6 into bottom of 8. 2-outs, 1 runner on for revejb. Boopie Miller hits a 2-run HR. Score is 9-8. Then, revejb goes walk, HBP, negative dWar single to score a run. Tied 9-9...

Tied 9-9 in the top of 9. lasershow gets a Murauskas single followed by a Malik Reneau HR. 11-9 lead, into the bottom of 9. revejb gets a lead-off Dowd single, a fly out, a single, a walk to load the bases. The dangerous Boopie Miller to the plate... soft grounder to 3B Braden Smith, fielded cleanly, the throw skips by 1B Miller, 2 runs score. 1 out, runners on 2nd and 3rd, tied at 11... Cruz Davis grounder to SS Boozer and 9-speed Brayden Burries beats the throw home. revejb wins 12-11. The box score is not clear how 1B(1B) Braden Smith ended up at 3B for lasershow in the bottom of 9, but Smith's first error of the tournament makes him the goat, but not greatest of all time goat. revejb wins the series and moves on to BB Rd. 7.

Day 41 :: Final Four & BB Rd.5 :: Game 6
• 4 games, all decided by a single run
• It's unusual to have a game that is decided in the bottom of the 7th be the least dramatic of the 4 games played on a PC day. bragankelly, down 3-2 in this BB Rd. 5 series, was down 8-7 going into the bottom of 7. bragankelly gets a two-run HR from Xavier Edmonds, for Edmonds' 3rd and 4th RBIs of the game. The 9-8 lead holds up. On to Game 7.

• jim2miller, down 3-2 in this Final Four series, had a 10-9 lead into the bottom of 8. paul21 gets a pinch-hit Boopie Miller HR in the bottom of 8 to tie the game, and an on-fire Cameron Boozer (4-for-4, 4 runs, 4 RBIs, 11 total bases) walk-off HR in the bottom of 9 to win the game and series. jim2miller leaves 11 on-base to paul21's 4 LOB, and jim2miller didn't have a hitter on fire to combat Boozer's doozer. jim2miller drops into BB Rd 6, paul21 into The 2 Unbeaten.

• bush484 took the long road in this Final Four game. rfb60609, leading 10-4 going into the bottom of 8, had RP Graham Ike melt down. Ike had a 2.84 ERA in 6.1 IPs in the tournament for rfb60609 before stepping on the mound with a 6-run lead.

In the bottom of 8, rfb60609 got two quick outs surrounding a walked batter, then the manager called for Ike to take the mound. In 25 pitches, "We Like Ike" turned to "Yikes Ike" turned to "We Don't Like Ike" for rfb60609. Ike let the inherited runner score, and, then, recorded 0 outs in 25 pitches. Ike gives up 4 hits, 2 walks, and 6 earned runs. bush484 had seven pitchers combine to give up 1 walk in 176 pitches in this game; Ike doubled that in 25 while raising his ERA from 2.84 to 11.37. After Ike, bush484 led by 1 run at the end of the 8th.

The score is 11-10 into 9. In the 9th, rfb60609 gets a Braden Smith solo HR to tie the game at 11-11, then, in the bottom of 9, bush484 gets a walk, fielder's choice for an out, HBP, single (but the runner doesn't score from 2nd). Bases loaded, a Yaxel Lendeborg (defensive replacement) strikeout for the 2nd out... then a Brayden Burries 2-out bases-loaded single to win the game and series for bush484. 3 of 4 rfb60609 losses to bush484 are heartbreakers. bush484 into The 2 Unbeaten, rfb60609 drops to BB Rd. 6

• lasershow down 3-2 in games to revejb in this BB Rd 5 series. revejb scores 2 in the top of 8 to have the score of the game match the score of the series: 3-2; lasershow's Darryn Peterson had an error to allow revejb to score the 2nd run of the inning. Delighful turn: With a runner on 2nd, lasershow enjoys a PCMM quirk where (defensive replacement) LF Thomas Dowd makes a positive dWar play to rob LF Thomas Dowd of a hit.

revejb still leads 3-2 into the bottom of 9. lasershow gets a 2-out solo HR from SS Izaiyah Nelson (only 2nd HR of tournament) to tie the game. Nelson is the game's hero!

Into top of 10, tied at 3-3. revejb gets a Boopie Miller lead-off double, then a Jeremiah Wilkinson 2-out double for a run. Wilkinson is the game's hero! 4-3 into bottom of 10. Two quick outs. lasershow, for the 2nd time in two innings, is down to what could be his last out of the tournament... Kingston Flemings solo HR. Flemings is the game's hero! Game tied 4-4.

Into top of 11. revejb gets a Thomas Dowd single followed by a Jeslin Porter HR to grab a 6-4 lead. Porter's the game's hero! Bottom of the 11th: lasershow goes single, single, single to score a run, sac fly to score a run and tie the game, 1-out sac bunt to advance the runner (Acuff Jr) to 2nd... a 2-out Darryn Peterson single to left scores Acuff Jr. Peterson is the game's hero! lasershow wins 7-6. On to Game 7.

Day 40 :: Final Four & BB Rd.5 :: Game 5
• 3 of 4 games are 1-run thrillers
• jim2miller, down 3-1 in games, sits on a 5-run lead built with 2 Boopie Miller HRs. But, paul21 gets single, walk, pinch-hit Boopie Miller 3-run HR, single, Philon Jr 2-run HR to score 5 runs before making an out. But, jim2miller's manager brings in RP Mason Falsley to sit down the next 3 batters, to keep the score tied at 7. In bottom of 9, score still tied 7-7, jim2miller has 1B Boopie Miller hit a lead-off HR to win the game. Miller's third HR in the game for jim2miller, and fourth HR in the game, counting one for paul21. paul21 leads series 3-2.

• rfb60609, down 3-1 in games, is leading the game 5-3 going into the top of 9. In the top of 9, bush484 gets a single and a negative dWar double, but the runner stops at 3rd base. rfb60609 gets Dowd and Acuff Jr both to pop out, but, then, loads the bases with a walk. 2-outs, bases loaded, and bush484 sends up pinch-hitter Flemings... bases clearing double to grab the lead 7-6 before Cruz Davis grounds out to end the top of the 9th inning.

Bottom of 9, rfb60609's club at bat, down 3-1 in games, down 7-6 in this game: A "Who's On First" routine breaks out... Edmonds saves a hit for bush484 and gets a hit for rfb60609... Cruz makes an error for bush484 and gets a hit for rfb60609... rfb60609's lead-off hitter Haugh grounds out (X. Edmonds, for bush484, with a dWar save), but 1B Cruz Davis (for bush484) makes a two-base error to put Philon Jr on 2nd base. Then, X. Edmonds (for rfb60609) hits a double to score Philon Jr and tie the score before rfb60609's Cruz slaps an RBI single to score the winning run. bush484 leads the series 3-2.

• lasershow, down 3-1 in games to revejb, keeps the game tied 4-4 into the bottom of 10. revejb's team at the plate. revejb gets a two-out single from C Wilkinson, then a double from CF Haugh... Wilkinson waved in by 3rd base coach John Calipari, and the 2-speed Wilkinson is cut down at home. Score remains tied 4-4.

Top of 12, lasershow gets 2 runs on error, double, two singles, but then has Nelson strike out with two on, and Murauskas pop out with the bases loaded. lasershow leads 6-4. In the bottom of 12, revejb gets five singles in a row to score 2 runs and tie the game, but lasershow's RP Dailyn Swain, after giving up three singles and two runs, sits down three hitters in a row to keep the game tied.

In the top of 13, lasershow gets a solo Boopie Miller HR to make up for his 4 Ks in the game. In the bottom of 13, lasershow's 2B Murauskas starts a game-ending double play with a dWar save to seal the win for lasershow. This game saw lasershow have 3 negative dWar plays and 4 positive dWar plays. revejb leads the series 3-2.

Day 39 :: Final Four & BB Rd.5 :: Game 4
• 3 of 4 series are at 3-1. bragankelly vs. fantasytease at 2-2.

Day 38 :: Final Four & BB Rd.5 :: Game 3
• rfb60609's sour luck in the Final Four continues, as bush484 get back-to-back-to-back on-fire pitchers for the first 7 innings of the game to help win the game 4-1. Lead in games is 3-0 in favor of bush484.

Day 37 :: Final Four & BB Rd.5 :: Game 2
• Behind late for the second game in a row, bush484 ties rfb60609 in the 8th, then bush484 gets an Xavier Edmonds HR in the top of 10 to take the lead. In the bottom of 10, rfb60609 gets runners to 1st and 3rd, but bush484's (defensive replacement) 2B Sandfort robs a TJ Power (also a defensive replacement) hit to seal the win. Sandfort's 2nd dWar save of the whole tournament saves the 7-6 win for bush484.
• revejb and lasershow keep it on the down low. Tied 2-2 into the bottom of 9, revejb gets walk, walk, Burries bloop single to score the winning run. Burries 3rd hit of the game and .325 tourney average banks a win. lasershow has a SP Cenac Jr 2 ERs in 6 IPs gem lost in history by the bullpen.
• fantasytease scores 5 with two outs in the bottom of 8 to break a 2-2 tie, and get a win.

Day 36 :: Final Four & BB Rd.5 :: Game 1
• bush484 down 4-3 into 9 to rfb60609, got a lead-off HR from Thomas Dowd to tie the score 4-4, then bush gets a pinch-hit Boozer single, followed by a pinch-hit Kingston Flemings triple to score; two pinch-hits to score the winning run. The 5-4 lead holds up.

Day 35 :: BB Rd.4 :: Game 7
• Game 7: lasershow unseats the reigning champ yankeebb, as a 3-2 pitching duel breaks out. lasershow set it up perfectly to have slump-busted SP Cenac Jr. on the mound, then got an on-fire boost to boot. 6.2 IP of 2-run ball from SP Cenac Jr, and, then, 2.2 of no-hit ball from five relievers, none on fire. yankee ran the right pitchers out for his squad - SP Daniels Jr. and SP Tre White - who combined to give up 3 runs, but that was 1 run too many. lasershow moves on to BB Rd. 5
• Game 7: fantasytease has counted on the highest run-scoring offense in the tournament, and it delivered, again, with 9 runs, for the 9-5 victory. Clearly, it takes 7-games to knock-out atsanbpinetti, as it took 7 games for rfb60609, too, in the Elite Eight. On the field, fantasytease sent out a slump-busted, on fire SP Lubin, which, as with the other Game 7, is a solid advantage from the jump. Pair a SB On-Fire SP with a high-octane offense, 0 walks from six pitchers, and a 4-for-4 from 2B Sandfort in the 8 hole of the line-up, and fantasytease, through design and fortuitious fire, tilted the odds in his favor to bank the win and series. fantasytease moves on to BB Rd. 5

Day 34 :: BB Rd.4 :: Game 6
• revejb had to beat a great tactical move from trjpacman, as trjpacman slotted in slump-busted SP Wessler for the start, but revejb's offense was on the ball, clocking 17 hits and 9 runs for the win. revejb ran SP Larry Johnson out for the start. Johnson is 1-0 for revejb in 7 tournament starts, but the record doesn't tell the story. revejb's Twitter account has made it clear, "Best Johnson in the tournament...", as SP Johnson has given revejb 26.1 IPs of 3.08 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, 7.3 H/9 pitching. This compared to (according to a Gemini AI calculation) all other Larry Johnsons used in the tournament averaging a 7.97 ERA, 1.97 WHIP, 11.58 H/9. Best Johnson in the tournament moves on to BB Rd 5.

Day 33 :: BB Rd.4 :: Game 5
• bragankelly wins 8 of his last 9, with a 10-8 victory over coachpappy. bragankelly's offense was missing the sim ball enough for 10 Ks, but hitting the sim ball enough to score 10 runs, including a 2-run HR from RF Darryn Peterson in the bottom of 8 to break an 8-8 tie. coachpappy, like several other tournament newcomers, makes it deep into the tournament with some great PC game-play, but ran into a very hot team at the wrong time. bragankelly's stout defense, and just enough offense, keeps the team winnings. bragankelly moves on to BB Rd 5.

Day 32 :: BB Rd.4 :: Game 4
• bragankelly scores 3 in the top of 10 to bank the win. A gut-wrenching, for coachpappy, LF Otega Oweh 2-run bloop single in the 10th helps seal the victory. Oweh, he of the .148 RS average, went 2-5 in the win. Hitting .214 in the tournament, Oweh's 15 dWar saves combined with hitting over his RS average has helped bragankelly get to the brink of moving on.
• trjpacman forces revejb to use 10 pitchers with a 17-run outburst from trjpacman's offense, including his 1-3 hitters in the line-up (CF Darius Acuff Jr, C Joshua Jefferson, and RF Xavier Edmonds) going 11-13 with 12 runs scored (4 each), 3 HRs, and 11 RBIs. trjpacman wins 17-7.

Day 31 :: BB Rd.4 :: Game 3
• 4 series, all 2-1 in games after game 3.
• atsanbpinetti, held to 2 total runs through games 1 & 2, scores 7 in the 2nd inning, including a team cycle in the inning: 4 singles, a double, a triple, 2 HRs. The 7 runs holds up for a 7-5 win.
• fantasytease has the two top RBI hitters in the tournament: Cruz Davis (40) and Boopie Miller (38). bragankelly has the two leading doubles hitters in the tournament: Xavier Edmonds (14) and Boopie Miller (14). Boopie is everywhere.

Day 30 :: BB Rd.4 :: Game 2
• Day 30, like Day 29, gives the fans three 1-run games.
• bragankelly runs his win streak to 6 with a 13-12 win. coachpappy scores 7 in the top of the 8th to go up 12-11, but bragankelly ties the game in the 8th, and gets the unique PCMM ending in the 9th where Acuff Jr, in coachpappy's field, robbed a hit for the first out, then Acuff Jr hit a triple & scored the winning run for bragankelly. bragankelly goes up 2-0 in the series.
• lasershow, shut out for six innings, scores 6 in the bottom of 7 on a Dybantsa 3-run double, Peterson 2-run HR, and Reneau solo shot. yankeebb grabbed the lead back with 2 in the top of 8, but lasershow's power roll continues in the 8th with a Braden Smith solo HR and Acuff Jr. run scoring triple. 8-7 win for lasershow to go up 2-0 in the series.

Day 29 :: BB Rd.4 :: Game 1
• Day 29, for the four games, had a combined 5-run differential, with three 1-run games, and a 2-run win.
• atsanbpinetti's pitching kept fantasytease's tournament leading offense to 1-run through 8, but fantasytease wins 2-1 on a hitless bottom of the 9th: Davis walk, Stirtz pinch-run steal, wild pitch, Boopie Miller sac-fly.
• yankeebb's Florida chum Thomas Haugh hits 2 HRs and has 6 RBIs, but Haugh needed 1 more to win the game as lasershow pulls out the 11-10 win.

Day 28 :: Elite Eight & BB Rd.3 :: Game 7
• In a 14-inning Elite Eight thriller, coachpappy took the lead with a Braden Smith HR in the top of 14, but bush484 got a two-out rally, with a Haugh single, Cruz Davis single, and Thomas Dowd walk-off 3-run HR. bush484 to the 4final4, coachpappy drops to BB Rd 4.
• yankeebb completes the comeback from 0-3, finding a backlog of runs to to take the series 4-3 from breuer_elbows with a 17-1 win. On the downside, the pitching staff picked the wrong game to be stellar.
• fantasytease's club, after 27 days, led the tournament in scoring. That calculation was before his squad scored 18 runs in a deciding Game 7 on Day 28.
• The "Midnight Run" was back in action with a 14-12 slugfest from trjpacman and glansgruber. trjpacman with a tactical play, moving Edmonds from RF to 3rd base for the injured Brayden Burries, and bringing Reneau in to RF, to bat in the 3 hole. Reneau had a 2-run HR and an RBI ground-out in the 2-run win.
• Tournament overall #1 seed rfb60609 was pushed to 7 by atsanbpinetti's squad. SP Tyler Bilodeau got the call from rfb60609 for the Game 7 start (only his third start of the tourney), and pitched 6-innings of shutout ball for the win. atsanbpinetti drops to BB Rd 4.

Day 27 :: Elite Eight & BB Rd.3 :: Game 6
• Five Game 6s, there will be five Game 7s. Our TV contract negotiating team is thrilled with Day 27.
• fantasytease, down 3-2 in games, down 1 run going into bottom of 9, goes pinch-hit single, single, walk, 10-speed pinch-runner Stirtz thrown out at home, strikeout, HBP for the tying run, Thomas Dowd bases-loaded full-count walk-off single. fantasytease and dalbpho go to 7.
• rfb60609, down 3-2 in games, gets the first CG of the tournament from SP Patrick Wessler. Non-fire, to boot. rfb60609's Cruz Davis with 4 hits, 2 HRs, & 4 runs scored in the 10-2 win. atsanbpinetti and rfb60609 go to 7.
• trjpacman and glansgruber were like DeNiro and Charles Grodin in "Midnight Run", they couldn't get away from each other. glansgruber would get away for a bit, trjpacman would catch him, get away, caught, get away, caught... until the bottom of 9. Down 3-2 in games, tied 9-9, trj DeNiro gets his bounty, (the win) with: strike out, walk, walk, walk, walk. Pinch runner Philon Jr scores the game-winner. trjpacman and glansgruber go to 7.
• bush484, down 3-2 in games, leads 6-5 over coachpappy into the 9th. An 8-run form of water torture (4 walks, 5 singles, 1 two-base error) in the 9th from bush seals the game. bush484 and coachpappy go to 7.
• yankeebb motivates his club through the media with a chat box post early in the morning. The tournament chat box is duplicated, instantly, on RSS feeds, Twitter, MySpace, and TikTokToe. Millions see the post, and now believe in hope and magic again. Down 3-0 in games to breuer_elbows in the morning, yankeebb has six pitchers combine to toss a 6-0 shutout, and Carlos Boozer's son Cameron hits his tourney leading 12th HR. yankeebb and breuer_elbows go to 7.

Day 26 :: Elite Eight & BB Rd.3 :: Game 5
• paul21 gets 3 HRs from 1B Braden Smith (half his tournament total) to finish the Elite Eight series in 5. revejb drops into the Bounce Backs.
• bragankelly gets 5.1 innings of 2-run ball from Chris Cenac Jr and 4 RBIs from Cruz Davis to top jsmathiot and move on to BB Rd.4.
• atsanbpinetti does not flinch in support of SP Rylen Griffen. Griffen, coming into the game with an 18.00 ERA in two short starts, tosses 5 innings of 1-run ball. Griffen still sports a 9.90 ERA, but also a clutch win.
• jim2miller gets 5.2 innings of 2-run ball from the now 5-0 SP Henri Veesaar to win the Elite Eight series in 5. Veesaar has 5/13 of jim2miller's wins, and is tied for the tourney lead in wins (with RP Jaden Bradley, breuer_elbows). lasershow drops into Bounce Backs.

Day 25 :: Elite Eight & BB Rd.3 :: Game 4
• rfb60609, down 4-0 going into the 8th, scores 6 on 1 walk and 7 singles; 6-5 win to tie the series at 2.
• fantasytease and dalbpho combine for another statistical anomaly (see Day 22). fantasytease scores 8 runs on 2 hits (a single and double) in 4.2 innings. Only 1 error contributed. fantasytease wins the game 15-6.

Day 24 :: Elite Eight & BB Rd.3 :: Game 3
• paul21 gets a walk-off 2-out bloop single from defensive replacement 1B Michael Cooper to win 6-5 and tie the series.
• jim2miller and rainman throwing haymakers. jim2miller had innings scoring 4, 5, and 6 in the game. rainman slugged back with a 6-run bottom of 9 to send the game to extra innings, tied at 12. But, jim2miller gets that aforementioned 5-run inning in the top of 13 to seal the win.
• Not to be outdone in big innings, trjpacman and glansgruber had innings scoring 3, 3, 6, 5, 4, 4, 3 for a final score of 19-15. trjpacman scores 19 on 19 hits, glansgruber scores 15 on 15 hits. 2B Jeslin Porter smacks 3 HR and 6 RBI to lead trjpacman to the win.

Day 23 :: Elite Eight & BB Rd.3 :: Game 2
• 8 series. 4 tied 1-1, including 3 of the Elite Eight series.
• dalbpho stays hot. Another 14-run game to go up 2-0. dalbpho has scored 15, 14, 14 in the last three games, including the unbelievable Game 1 win.
• glansgruber has the CY leader in CL Allen Graves, with 11.0 IPs of shutout ball and 7 saves. glansgruber also has DH Kingston Flemings 2nd in MVP rankings.
• jim2miller's Darius Acuff Jr is hitting .500 in the tournament, now 34-for-68. And, jim2miller has SP Veesaar at 4-0 in 4 starts to tie for the tourney lead in wins, even though jim2miller has played one fewer series than the BB teams.

Day 22 :: Elite Eight & BB Rd.3 :: Game 1
• bush484 runs out 12 pitchers, clocks 2 blown saves, but gets a walk-off Burries single to win 7-6 in the bottom of 14.
• jsmathiot gets (in a common tourney refrain) a Cruz Davis walk-off HR to win. jsmathiot's SP Tarris Reed Jr pitches the final 2.1 innings to notch his 4th win, tied for tourney lead in wins.
• atsanbpinetti scores 6 in the top of the 8th to lead 11-6, and is able to hold off rfb60609's rally to win 11-10, with the tying and winning runs stranded on 2nd & 3rd base.
• fantasytease wins the prize for this tourney's hard-luck-what-in-the-world-did-PC-do defeat. This will be toughest loss this tourney, and may be the hardest luck loss of all PCMM tournaments. fantasytease leads dalbpho 12-9 into the bottom of 9. dalbpho goes ground out, single, strike out, single, RBI single, RBI single. Score is 12-11, runners on 1st and 2nd, and dalbpho's manager decides to pinch-hit for AJ Dybantsa Jr (.316 RS, 1 HR every 8.5 ABs in real stats [a.k.a. RS]) with the pinch-hitter... jeez... Yaxel Lendeborg (.131 RS average, 1 HR every 137.5 ABs in RS, 1 K every 2.3 ABs in RS). 2-outs, the worst hitter on the opponent's team is trotted out as a pinch-hitter with the game on the line. Yaxel HR. 3-run walk-off HR from Lendeborg for dalbpho. I apologize to fantasytease on behalf of the sim. Lendeborg's first AB for dalbpho all tournament wins game 1.

Days 20 & 21 :: BB Rd.2 :: Games 6 & 7
• dalbpho & bragankelly advance.

Day 19 :: BB Rd.2 :: Game 5
• 6 series, all at 3-1.
• The comeback of the tournament, in terms of on-the-brink miracles... sincitymarauder, down 3-1 in the series and down 7-1 going into the bottom of the 9th, goes Cruz Davis ground out, Braden Smith strike out... then Thornton single, Haugh single, Izaiyah Nelson HR (first HR of tournament), pinch-hit Burries single, Dowd single, Peterson walk, Acuff Jr walk, Cruz Davis bases loaded single to tie the game, and walk-off Braden Smith single. sincitymarauder forces a Game 6 in a stunning comeback.
• 4 series end, all with close games...
• breuer_elbows uses a 7-run sixth and a 5-run ninth, scoring 14 runs for the 2nd game in a row to win 14-9 and advance to BB Rd. 3.
• yankeebb had SP Cenac Jr toss 7 innings of 1-hit shutout ball, to build a 5-run lead. Then, in an inning, RP Allen Graves and RP Jaden Bradley gave up 6, to lose the lead and Cenac Jr's chance to win. Bradley gave up 2 runs, blew the save, but got the win when, in the bottom of 8, yankeebb got a Paulius Murauskas HR and his habitual pinch-run/SB/run-scored from DH Bennett Stirtz. In the top of 9, disturbed got the tying run to second, but Terry Anderson, who entered as a pinch-runner for Cruz Davis in the 8th, pops out to end the threat. yankeebb advances.
• A pitcher's duel was sighted, but, oddly, not so rare for these teams. The second 2-1 win for jsmathiot in the series, scoring with two solo HRs from C Wilkinson and CF Peterson, and getting 6.1 IPs of 1 run ball from SP Tre White. jsmathiot advances.
• glansgruber with the coaching save. Leading 9-8 going into top of 9, glansgruber's defensive replacement SS Ja'Kobi Gillespie (in his 10th tournament defensive specialist appearance) makes 2 dWar saves (his first of the tourney) to keep runners off the bases. glansgruber advances.
• gbacci forces a Game 6 v dalbpho with a 4-1 win that included a solo HR from .176 RS average, defensive specialist SS Zuby Ejiofor; the 2nd HR for gbacci's Ejiofor in the tournament. 8 HR out of 505 ABs in RS, 2 HR out of 54 ABs in the tournament. Zuby's on fire!

Day 18 :: BB Rd.2 :: Game 4
• 8 series, zero come out of Game 4 at 2-2, six come out at 3-1, two at 4-0.
• jsmathiot, down 3 going into top of 9, scores 7 earned runs after making two quick outs in the inning. bhgray's RP Jaden Bradley had given up only one run in the tournament for a 1.93 ERA before giving up 5 on 16 pitches.
• breuer_elbows, down 3 in the bottom of 9, gets 5 unearned (4 with 2 outs), including a walk-off 3-run HR by X. Edmonds; this was Edmonds' 10th, which leads the tournament.
• glansgruber, down 2 into the top of 9, scores 3 on single, single, single, Cruz Davis double. Somehow Cruz Davis keeps coming up in clutch situations for several teams and delivering. glansgruber wins to go up 3-1 in the series.
• trjpacman and fantasytease sweep to move on to BB Rd.3.
• trjpacman, with nary a player in the MVP or CY top ten, has not needed many dramatic late inning wins to post 11 wins thus far, advancing to BB Rd.3 with a sweep.
• fantasytease has found a groove in his offense scoring 17, 9, 10, and 12 for the sweep, to advance to BB Rd. 3.
• A couple five-star PC Commissioners: chickenheads [MLB: The Show] and gusPC13 [Bad News Bears, Legendary Losers, All Yankees... turn page to back] ran into hot teams in the early rounds. If you are looking for a custom league with a great Commish, they are both 10s on a scale of 1 to 5.

Day 17 :: BB Rd.2 :: Game 3
• jsmathiot and bhgray with their 3rd one-run game in 3 games. jsmathiot gets a 2-out 2-run HR from X. Edmonds in the top of 10 to go up 8-6. bhgray gets a lead-off pinch-hit HR from Tavari Johnson, then loads the bases with 1 out (including a Lendeborg bloop single, he of the .131 RS avg.), but pinch-hitter Dowd pops out, and pinch-hitter Izaiyah Nelson lines out to end the game. jsmathiot wins to go up 2-1 in the series.
• disturbed gets to 10 runs again, but in one inning this time. A 10-run 5th (all earned), started by disturbed's Cruz Davis hitting his 5th HR in 3 games. yankeebb used 8 pitchers in the game, all but one (Duke Brennan) with 6+ ERAs in the tournament.
• fantasytease, down by 2 runs in the 8th, gets a Davis RBI triple and 2-run Boopie Miller HR on the way to the 10-9 win.

Day 16 :: BB Rd.2 :: Game 2
• jsmathiot edges bhgray 2-1. jsmathiot's 2 runs score in the 3rd with ground out, pop out, double, walk, walk, walk, walk. 2-1 lead, and the bullpen holds the lead for a tough 6 shutout innings.
• Copy and paste from Day 15. yankeebb and disturbed tied 10-10 after 9 innings; 2x in two games. A 5-run 8th from yankeebb's offense puts him up 2 before disturbed gets a HR from Cruz "Clutch" Davis and a Sandfort triple to score a run and tie the game at 10. But, bottom of 10, yankeebb gets an Acuff Jr walk-off grounder to score Xavier Edmonds, 1 of only 2 of yankeebb's players to play the whole game.
• glansgruber, down 6-1 early to ac_grumpy, gets a 10th inning walk-off Haugh triple to score Philon Jr. and go up 2-0 in the series.
• bragankelly's offense goes hog wild, with 19 hits and 20 runs. 2-hole hitter Darryn Peterson (.385 real stats avg.) was odd-man out, posting a memorably forgettable 0-7. Series tied 1-1.

Day 15 :: BB Rd.2 :: Game 1
• 5 of 8 games were 1-run thrillers.
• fantasytease had a sit-down with his 1 and 2 hitters after they went 0-9. The other 7 hitters in fantasytease's line-up: 18-36, all with multi-hits, including four with 3 hits, on the way to fantasytease scoring 17 runs. chickenheads has been scoring heaps in the tournament, with (before this game) the 2nd most runs scored, as a team. This series could have fireworks galore.
• disturbed and yankeebb found the madness on the field. 12-11 in extra innings. A key play in the box score for the PC aficionado: Top of 8, tied at 8: yankeebb's C Joshua Jefferson with a dWar save for the first out. disturbed's next batter, Cruz Davis, launches a HR, but only a solo shot, as bases were empty. disturbed then gets a Dowd HR to go up 10-8. Bottom of 9, down 10-8, yankeebb had green lights flashing in the dugout. Single, pinch-runner Stirtz steals 2nd, single (but the 10-speed Stirtz stops at 3rd), another pinch-run SB (from Philon Jr). Runners on 2nd and 3rd with 0 outs. Wild pitch for a run, sac fly for another run, game tied at 10. yankee's club hits another single, but this pinch-runner (Cooper) is thrown out stealing. End of 9, tied 10-10. disturbed gets another solo Cruz Davis HR (his 2nd in three innings) to go up 11-10, but yankeebb gets 2-out magic: Edmonds walk, Acuff Jr single, and Stirtz (entered as pinch runner in 9th) hits a walk-off triple for the win.
• trjpacman gets a top of the 8th HR from 2B Jeslin Porter, 3 plus dWar plays, and an on-fire Wessler putting up 7.1 IPs of 3-run pitching to win 4-3.
• ac_grumpy's RF Malik Reneau leads glansgrubers DH Kingston Flemings by 0.2 points in MVP ratings.
• atsanbpinetti (kicking back in the Elite Eight) has SP Ven-Allen Lubin (2-0, 0.96 ERA, 1.02 WHIP) leading the CY by 2.5 points over paul21's RP Jackson Rasmussen (3-1, 3.09 ERA, 1.20 WHIP)

Day 14 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1 :: Game 7
• dalbpho and skooler1 took their roles as Thrill Captains seriously, in the lone Game 7 of the round. skooler1 tied the score at 7 in the bottom of 9 with an HR, double, then 2-out sac-fly to score the pinch runner Acuff. dalbpho, though, had a clear strategy: hit it to LF Dowd. 2 errors in the inning. dalbpho scored 5 unearned runs in the top of 10 to put the game out of reach, and seal the series win.
• skooler1 pitched in with another fantastic PCMM statistical anomaly (see Day 8) as LF Thomas Dowd, a .957 fielder with a dWar of +1.7, committed two errors in the top of the 10th, enabling dalbpho to score 5 unearned runs. These were Dowd's 2nd and 3rd errors of the game; Dowd's first error also led to an unearned run. 6 unearned runs on Dowd's glove; Dowd's only 3 errors of the tournament for skooler1.

Day 13 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1 :: Game 6
• bush484, after winning game 5 in the 9th, repeated the script in game 6. Nothing flashy, but... a walk, Cruz Davis triple, Boozer pinch-hit sac-fly to score pinch runner Burries from 3rd. A walk-off sac-fly, but bush484 pulling the right settings to have the 9-speed Burries pinch-run for the 4-speed Davis, and the 140 RBI, .317 hitting Boozer pinch-hitting for the 46 RBI, .295 hitting Tyler Tanner. The virtual coach played it the way bush484 set it up, and bush484 takes the series, 4-2.
• revejb and chickenheads score 25 total. Tied 10-10 into the 9th, revejb got a top of 9th Boopie Miller grandslam to put the game out of reach and close out the series, 4-2.
• skooler1 and dalbpho go into extra innings, with the last chance for a Game 7 in this round. dalbpho could not have felt too thrilled when the .136 real stats Lendeborg (3-for-5 in the game) led off the 10th with a single for skooler1. Sealed fate. skooler1 plates 2 in the top of 10, and it stands up to give the tournament a sorely needed Game 7.
• glansgruber, down 3-2 in the series, had DH Kingston Flemings leave it all on the field vs. rfb60609, as the King F hit for the cycle, with a non-fire 4-5, topping it off with an HR in the 7th. Not enough, though, as rfb60609 scores 13 to close the series, 4-2.
• King F is the 2nd player with a cycle in the tournament. coachpappy had Murauskas hit for a cycle on Day 10 that was missed by our stats dept.

Day 12 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1 :: Game 5
• jimgriddy got a 1-hit shutout from SP Doty and two RPs to stay in the series v. atsanbpinetti. Best pitching performance of the tournament, thus far.
• bush484 got hot at the table, betting on snake eyes. Down 5-1 to pskeane, bush484 rolled a 2 in the 7th, 8th, and 9th to squeak out a win. In the 9th, bush484 capitalized on a negative dWar single to eventually lead to a 2-out Dybantsa Jr 2-run double for a 7-6 lead that held up.
• breuer_elbows launched 6 HRs to score 9 runs v. guspc13, including 2 from Edmonds to hold off guspc13's furious 9th inning rally that fell one-run short.

Day 11 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1 :: Game 4
• disturbed got 4 runs in the top of 9 on singles, walks, and WPs to flip the 2-run deficit to a 2-run lead and win to go up 3-1 in the BB series vs sleazye.
• paul21 and gbacci played bookend ball. paul21 went up 1-0 in the bottom of 1, then seven innings of shut-out ball from both teams took us to the 9th, with paul21 leading 1-0. gbacci scored 2 in the top of 9 to go up 2-1, including a pinch-hit single by Fears Jr (replacing defensive ace SS Ejiofor). But, paul21 tied it in the bottom of 9 when Fears Jr, staying in at SS, had a negative dWar play to allow the lead-off hitter on. paul21 went negative dWar single, pinch runner SB, intentional walk, walk, walk to score the tying run. In the bottom of 10 paul21 got a Ridder walk-off HR to win the game and tie the series at 2-2.
• 16 series. 11 are 3-1, 5 are at 2-2.

Day 10 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1 :: Game 3
• sleazye, after Murauskas tied the score with a lead-off HR in the bottom of 9, got a walk-off hard single from Acuff Jr to score Anderson. sleazye needed the win to keep from going three games down to disturbed.
• chickenheads and revejb played their third 1-run game of the series, but chickenheads got this one with a bottom of 9 sequence: out, single, SB from pinch runner, walk, Braden Smith walk-off single on a negative dWar play from revejb's Boopie Miller. chickenheads needed this one to keep from going three games down.
• jsmathiot got a walk-off HR from Hawai'i, versus lasershow, with the Rainbow Warrior Rouhliadeff hitting a deep shot, batting first in the bottom of 9. A long road back in this 7-6 win, as lasershow scored 5 in the top of the first. Like the two walk-offs mentioned above, jsmathiot needed this one to keep from going three games down.
• glansgruber got a 3-run walk-off jack from Xavier Edmonds in the bottom of 11, to complete the comeback win. Down 9-4 going into the bottom of 6, glansgruber's pitching was lights out for the next five innings, while the batters did just enough to force extra innings before the walk-off HR vs rfb60609.
• coachpappy was offense ignited vs. yankeebb. 17 runs scored, including Murauskas hitting for the cycle with a 5-5, 6 RBI, non-fire cycle to lead the offensive onslaught.

Day 9 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1
• pskeane may well be practicing walk-off HRs. After 2 walk-off deep flies in the first series, pskeane had Isaziyah Nelson jack a 3-run walk-off HR in the bottom of 11 to take game 2 from bush484; series tied at 1-1.
• chickenheads is running Heartbreak Ridge in the first two games versus revejb. chickenheads, holding multi-run leads after batting in the top of the 8th of both games 1 & 2, has watched the bullpen blow both leads, losing both games by a run. 19 runs scored for chickenheads in two games, but 21 scored for revejb to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Day 8 :: Sweet 16, BB Rd.1
• ac_grumpy scored 3 in the top of 9, with two outs, to tie jaykuntz. A walk, Malik Reneau triple, and 2-run Cruz Davis HR tied the score at 6 for ac_grumpy, then, in the 11th, Reneau hit a 3-run HR to give ac_grumpy the win in the opener of the Bounce Back series.
• coachpappy had SP Larry Johnson (17.05 ERA) give up 3 earned runs to yankeebb's first five batters, then got 9.1 innings of 2-hit shut-out pitching from 7 more pitchers. A Murauskas triple and Haugh sac-fly in the top of 10 put coachpappy up 1-0 in games.
• rainman's pitchers gave up a single unearned run to bragankelly. Tarris Reed Jr, for rainman, has pitched 11.1 innings in three games, and is sporting a 0.79 ERA. Only 18 position players played during the 9 innings, a rarity in the tournament.
• skooler1 has earned a great stat for PCMM lore: RP Momcilovic is now 3-0 with 1.2 innings pitched. Eminem may have been able to put up similar numbers to skooler1's MM: 1.2 IP, 5.40 ERA, 2.40 WHIP, 18 H/9, 18 BB/9, 7.00 DICE, but 3-0 record.

Day 7, Game 7s! :: Round of 32
• Five critical Game 7s to bring in the ratings. A few of the exciting Game 7s were watched, start to finish, in the fancy Animated Replay.
• trjpacman v. jim2miller. A deciding Game 7. Heartbreak for trjpacman fans as, down 3-1 in the game, trjpacman loads the bases in the bottom of 9 with a double, walk, walk. But, 2022 Tourney Champ jim2miller got a stellar close-out from RP Mitchell, who, entering with the bases loaded and 0 outs, got out of the jam to deliver the series to jim2miller.
• glansgruber v. bhgray. A deciding Game 7. The drama in this Game 7 was in the tight score throughout, with the score tied or a lead of 1 the entire game. glansgruber gets an ideal performance from his *closer RP Allen ("Digs") Graves, as Graves buries the batters with 3 Ks in the bottom of the 9th. *The use of a closer is a topic which great PC players disagree on; glansgruber has a Game 7 win in support of how a closer can define the position: closed spelled with 3 Ks.
• jaykuntz v. jsmathiot. A deciding Game 7. Thrills galore! Top 9 and top of 10, jaykuntz had heartbreakers to keep from scoring a go-ahead run. Top of 11, Cooper hits a HR for jaykuntz; bottom of 11, jsmathiot gets a two-out double from on-fire Edmonds and RBI single from C Wilkinson. Top of 12, jaykuntz gets a Dowd RBI single on a negative dWar play from SS Boozer; bottom of 12, jsmathiot gets a HR from that same Boozer to tie the score. Bottom of 13, jsmathiot gets a lead-off triple from Edmonds, then watches two get sat down before RF Reneau slaps a 2-out game-winning grounder into left.
• atsanbpinetti v. rainman. A deciding Game 7. atsanbpinetti, weathering a 33-5 deluge in the previous 2 games, comes out with a clutch tactical decision to have SP Lubin slotted in as LR. Lubin enters the game down 4-2, then Lubin tosses 5.2 innings of 4-hit shutout ball. But, Lubin needed help, as he doesn't have the stamina to close out the game... top of 9, leading 5-4, atsanbpinetti, with 2-outs and nobody on base, gets a walk, wild pitch, and Haugh single (for Haugh's 3rd RBI of the game) to go up 6-4, which was needed as rainman got a pinch-hit solo shot from Tavari Johnson before atsanbpinetti was able to close out the win with RP Graves and his 9.00 ERA.
• yankeebb moves into the Sweet 16, still in possession of the PCMM belt & chalice, plus a carved statue of a gator that was not part of the PCMM prize package.
• gbacci and chickenheads take hot clubs into the Sweet 16, both at 6-1. But, all series are at 0-0 for all teams, for the next round!

Day 6 :: Round of 32
• disturbed, down 3-2 in the series, got a solo shot from Dowd to tie the score, and, then, a walk-off 2-run HR from I-spell-an-already-difficult-name-to-spell-even-more-difficultly-zaiyah Nelson. disturbed forces a Game 7 vs. paul21.
• cardscoach v. pskeane. Six games, 4th walk-off HR as cardscoach ups the highlight ante with a walk-off Grandslam from Cruz Davis to win the game 9-7.
• rainman, down 3-2 in the series, unleashed another tsunamai on offense. After winning 15-3 in Game 5, rainman's line-up put up 18 in Game 6. After going 1-12 in the first five games, SS Murauskas cranked 3 HRs to pace the rain-O. rainman won games 5 & 6 by a combined 33-5. atsanbpinetti had room to waiver, though, after racing out to a 3-0 lead in the series. 3-3 tie, on to Game 7.
• fantasytease v. bush484. fantasytease scored 14 runs with a lone extra-base hit (a double in the third inning). 15 singles and 4 BBs. bush484 got a 5-5 with 3 HRs from his lead-off Xavier Edmonds, in a classic PC on-fire game. fantasytease leading 12-10 into top of 9, and bush484 gets back-to-back-to-back HRs from his 9-1-2 hitters, then plates two more runs to hold off fantasytease with a 15-14 win. bush takes the series.

Day 5 :: Round of 32
• They did it again. pskeane and cardscoach are pushing the broadcast rights up for their franchises. A 3rd walk-off HR for a win in the 5 games played, this walk-off HR another for pskeane, to ensure a series win.
• rfb60609, after giving up a 3-run lead in the top of 9 by virtue of his RP Conwell (0.2 BB/9) giving up 2 walks and 3 singles, got a walk-off double from 2B Sandfort to lead the series 3-2.

Day 4 :: Round of 32
• guspc13 keeps everyone involved, using 39 players (28 position, 11 pitchers) in 10 innings against chickenheads. Down 7-0 going into the 7th, gus took a 9-8 lead into the bottom of the 9th. But, chickenheads ties it in the 9th, and, in the 10th, two pinch-run SBs by Kingston Flemings and a wild pitch pull the win out for chickenheads.
• gbacci is camped out in the highlights vs. sleazye. Down 7-5 going into the 9th, gbacci gets a solo shot from 1B Boopie Miller, and a 2-run blast from DH Cruz Davis (his 2nd HR of the game) to eek out the 8-7 win. sleazye outhit gbacci 15-8, but stranded 10 in the 1-run loss.
• bragankelly, down 3-0 in the series, and 6-4 into the bottom of 8 vs. jimgriddy, plated 2 runs in the 8th, and walked-off the win with a lead-off HR from his lead-off batter, 3B Edmonds.

Day 3 :: Round of 32
• This year's top grossing film "The Offense" starring gbacci & sleazye continued to lead the box office. A 12-10 game, with gbacci scoring 4 in the 9th to win. These teams have scored a combined 66 runs in 3 games.
• pskeane, down 8-4 going into the 9th, got a 2-out RBI single from 3B Burries, then a 3-run HR from CF Peterson to tie the game. But, cardscoach got a walk-off 2-run bomb from 3B Thornton, for this series' 2nd walk-off HR in a row, one for each GM.

Day 2 :: Round of 32
• Two RPs let paul21 down, both giving up 3 earned runs in the 9th, reversing a 5-run lead. disturbed's SS Nelson clocked a bases clearing 2-out double to put disturbed ahead by 1, for the win.
• pskeane & cardscoach traded 9th inning bombs and leads, with pskeane's catcher Wilkinson jacking a walk-off 2-run HR for a 15-14 barnburner.

Day 1 :: Round of 32

• glansgruber had two SPs combine for a shutout, with an efficient 114 pitch game for the best non-fire pitching of the day.

Game Play To Know
ragingsol
• All series are now best-of- 7 games.
• At least 18 players must be in minors, for games to sim.
• Slump Busters are set to unlimited
• There are not days off during the series. Between rounds, only, all teams get 5 days off.
• There are not "elite" players in this league; you will not see bold-faced players on any roster .
• The HR stat counts in the pitchers' stats
• Stadium dimensions can be adjusted game to game, if you wish.
• Pitchers face a minimum of 1 batter.

• The Free Agents are identical to your team. FAs are not available, of course; they are just for reference to keep you from going googly-eyed looking at long lists of players.
