Amazing stat

Amazing stat

1960 world series game 7 , Bill Mazeroski hit a walkoff home run to beat the Yankees , nobody from either team struck out the whole game. Heard this on the tim kurkijan podcast which is one of the best baseball podcasts you will hear. I don't think that there have been many games in the history of mlb where this has happened. I would bet it's less than perfect games.

Here's a partial list I found. https://www.reddit.com/r/baseball/c..

Re: Re: Amazing stat

My post is about both teams not striking out , every example you listed the other team struck out

Re: Amazing stat

You're right, thank you for the clarification. Yes, that's very rare. I found a 1924 game that had zero walks and zero strikeouts from either team:

I believe the last zero strikeout game was this one in 1985: https://www.baseball-reference.com/..

Re: Re: Amazing stat

Thats the one i found when looking it up , i bet its one of the rarest achievements in the game. If anyone here on pc sees this happen in one of their games please post it. When you think about how many games are played on this site every day it will still be awhile if at all for it to happen. If it does I'm putting my money on a deadball era game.
