JUST FOR FUN

JUST FOR FUN

Long relievers in MLB are typically brought in to pitch around 3+ innings, often in the early to middle innings of a game, such as the 1st to 5th innings. Their role is to replace a starting pitcher who was removed from the game early, providing relief and giving the bullpen more flexibility ¹ ² ³.

The average inning for long reliever usage can vary, but they're often called upon in situations like:
- Early blowouts
- Starter struggles
- Extra-inning games

Keep in mind that long relievers can be used in various situations, and their deployment depends on the team's strategy and the game situation ⁴ ².

Re: JUST FOR FUN

Not being a jerk but, isn't this like basic Baseball knowledge? am I missing something?

Re: Re: JUST FOR FUN

Nope to basic knowledge.
Yes to being a jerk.

Re: JUST FOR FUN

I don’t usually like agreeing with SinCity, but … I agree with SinCity. Pretty basic stuff. Although kind of impressive if AI is getting it right about baseball since AI gets it wrong about a LOT of stuff.

Re: Re: JUST FOR FUN

Oh brother. Why do you think I put as the header, “Just for fun.”
Get a life guys.p

Re: JUST FOR FUN

Nothing to do with you, Dave. I was just having fun too. That's all I do on this site.
Thanks for sharing the post. It was interesting that it came from AI.

Thanks for explaining. It’s 110% forgotten. My misunderstanding…

Re: JUST FOR FUN

Once you are on for a while you will learn who the real jerks are and who is just sparring tongue in cheek. Neither of those guys are jerks......most of the time. ;-)
