JUST FOR FUN
JUST FOR FUN
Long relievers in MLB are typically brought in to pitch around 3+ innings, often in the early to middle innings of a game, such as the 1st to 5th innings. Their role is to replace a starting pitcher who was removed from the game early, providing relief and giving the bullpen more flexibility ¹ ² ³.
The average inning for long reliever usage can vary, but they're often called upon in situations like:
- Early blowouts
- Starter struggles
- Extra-inning games
Keep in mind that long relievers can be used in various situations, and their deployment depends on the team's strategy and the game situation ⁴ ².

Re: JUST FOR FUN
I don’t usually like agreeing with SinCity, but … I agree with SinCity. Pretty basic stuff. Although kind of impressive if AI is getting it right about baseball since AI gets it wrong about a LOT of stuff.
Re: Re: JUST FOR FUN
