If I didnt know better..

I already am skeptical that this team is getting a fair shake from the sim.
% of my player have been slump busted the entire season. ARod, Aaron, Ichiro, Henderson and Carter along with countless others following once . Top that off the starting pitching gives up 5,6 0r more runs in the first 4 innings and that pretty much sums it up. Except the fact that none of the mentioned players is hitting over 200 and 4 I think have more K's then hits. lol everytime I stop bye to check my ass puckers figuring I was due for another in whats become a regular medical exam. I will say this it is going to be a fun ride the rest of the way. Could it be its a roll of the dice? Wait a second not even if you tried to roll heads 15% of the time isnt it more likely to be around 50/50? In any case I keep hoping that somehow lightening will strike the dugout either recharging the batieries or do a full short circuit. Maybe have a moment like When Roy Hobbs hit that bomb that sent fireworks off and changed fortunes for ever. Be safe everyone. Mark out .......

I se the same thing happening with several of my teams too so you are not alone. Not sure if it's the sim , bad luck or my drafting strategy but when you constantly see compiled stats that are 20% lowed than the player's actual real life stats it does make you wonder what's going on doesn't it?

And don't tell me it's because of the league's player composition- when the other team's compiled stats are off by 10% and yours are off by 20+% it does make you scratch your head a bit but hey I'll keep at it until I get it right!

So you're saying that the really excellent SP's, like DeGrom, Scherzer, Verlander, Alexander, Maddux, etc, etc. should be a lot worse so that those hitters have better stats ? The reason they are "underperforming" is that they are facing the ALL TIME GREAT pitchers !! In PC, with the best of all time facing each other, everyone's stats are going to be "worse" than their best seasons - it's just MATH 😉😉😉😎😎😎

This owner has played a grand total of 58 games !! Maybe that has something to do with it ?

@LilMagoo it takes some time to learn the pool of players in these leagues. I took a very brief glance at your roster and the issues were obvious right away. For one, you can't survive these leagues without some top flight pitching. You have no highly ranked pitchers outside of Kimbrel. The Rank indicates how good the player is RELATIVE to others in the league. So even though EVERY player in the league has all-time great stats, lower rank means those players are the worst amongst all the greats in that league. The second issue I noticed right away was lack of power in your lineups. Since these leagues are loaded with power, it's hard to compete without it unless you've got a stellar staff and a crafty lineup (like lots of speed, great defense with high dwar players, etc.) Sure enough, your team has 49 homers, lowest in the league.

It takes a few seasons to get comfortable with the sim and how to evaluate players in the pool. Don't give up right away.
