Two human players w/ CPU-managed teams

Two human players w/ CPU-managed teams

Hi, completely new here. If me and a buddy wanted to pay the $20 to make a private league for the two of us. Could we run an eight team league but only control a team each? Would the other six be CPU-run and work okay after initial setup? Just clicking around the Test Drive League to get a feel for things. We're used to running a card and dice baseball league but we struggle to find time for this now with kids so looking for alternatives. Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: Two human players w/ CPU-managed te

@Anzerlak You can absolutely run a league and just leave the other teams "alone" but what I would warn is that the CPU doesn't really "manage" the roster. This may be a future feature, but right now it won't do anything like sign free agents or offer trades or anything like that. You can assign yourself as an owner of any team to initially get the CPU teams set up, create realistic lineups and strategy, etc. and then just unassign yourself and leave those teams alone. If players get injured or whatever, the CPU will sub players in as needed (although not always in the most intelligent way).

Re: Two human players w/ CPU-managed te

If you have a custom league - you can do whatever you want. So if you want to just play each other 300 times, go for it - 2 person league. If you want it to be 8 teams, you'd have to setup the other 6 but you could do that.
