I know many of you don't want to hear it and Guy doesn't either but the system of getting lousy players is contributing to the lack of people joining. I've joined 2 league over the last couple days and then left after the pathetic draft in keeper leagues.
Example: I drafted an 86 in Gibson, from there it went to a 60-50-40-30.
The pen was the same 80- to 60-50-40-30. So right away, without even looking at hitting, I need at least 6-8 pitchers. I can deal with not so great hitting. I've had some bad hitting teams do well but if you have to spend your entire supplemental draft on pitching, your hitting is going to lack.

In both leagues I was the 12th team to join. There was in one leagues 23 SP & 27 RP over 50. In the other league 22 SP 25 RP over 50. I've said it to Guy before the drafts have gotten progressively worse since the change. Redrafts: Don't even bother saving a pitcher under 80. I saved Horlen a 73 and in the redraft, he was my top pitcher. I only signed him to have a decent 4-5 spot filled. Instead, I had to spend my entire sup. draft on SP.

To me, this is why leagues aren't filling. You can't build a team like this. Oh I know some will say it's like that for everyone, but it's not. How do I end up with 12 of my 23 guys under 50 and other teams have 2 or 3 under 50. I'm not staying in a league to get slaughtered.
I want to at least have a chance to compete. The system has changed that. Okay, now yell and scream at me. I could care less. I have my opinion and you have yours.
