HOF season schedule

1. If there is a regular season tie, determine postseason home field advantage and set up single game playoff. (Check for injuries and pitching rotation).
2. Grant 1 day rest
3. Sim game
4. Archive Stats.
5. Award trophy
6. Record HOF team's stats
7. Choose team MVP & CY. Check for Triple Crown.
8. Assign major awards to players in PC.
9. Update individual Single season records document
11. Record no-hitters and cycle to Records document.
12. Print up HOF Team's season in review sheet.
13. Clear compiled stats.
14. Clear Game Results.

15. Change league title name to new year.
16. Do progressions using Real Life stats, click box instead of Year (Free Agents and All Teams).
16b. Note retired players on “Retired” Player List under that team.
17.Bulk retire players with minimal stats (under 25 IP or 100 AB). Add these players to Retired Player List under team.
18. Go through Free Agents and assign newly unretired players to their previous team.
19. Double-check "retired" players to make sure all players were returned. If not, import them to the correct year.
20. Import any new rookies (1 for each "retiring" player) for each team (25 IP, 100 AB) - tag if duplicate player
21. Change DH's to secondary position (FA & stats)
21b. Choose SP to convert to RP. (Lower Stamina to 50)
22. Edit Major League Rosters (25 unless using hitter/pitcher combo) using rank for All-Century Team. (Change to secondary position if desired).
23. Set lineups, choose closer and "yes" to PH & DEF.
23b. Change positions of All-Century players playing out of position.
25. Run sims 20 at a time to 100 games.

league ideas

1. Field of Dream league with Baseball-reference top 25 plus 5 minor leaguers. 20-year challenge using real stats, and I'm the Diamondbacks.
2. Smaller FOD league with original NL teams and real stats. Contracts to keep lineups in check. I'm the Dodgers.
3. Allred Hall of Fame vs. MLB Team of the Century (real stats)
4. Small league (4-8 teams) that starts in the 1800's using real stats. Draft for each year's rookies, but must sign them to contracts (5-year max) before you can promote them to the majors. Free agent draft for veterans with expired contracts. Each team has a specialty based on their stadium dimensions (LH, RH, power, defense and H/9) except mine (regular).
