League Rules
AL Rewind 79Teams: 14 AL teams in 2 divisions.
Players: Teams start with 1979 rosters. Some fringe/filler and aging star players have been added from Nl to fill out rosters. None of the players chosen played past 1981 in real life and no one that was due to be imported to AL team was chosen. For duplicate players, player will be place on team they began 1979 with. Threshold for season 1 40/15
Rookies: Each season teams will receive rookie imports and any players acquired from American League. 50 AB and 25 IP minimum to be imported. We will go back to 50/25 starting in 1982 with exception for strike shortened seasons which 50/25 will be pro rated.
Playoffs: 3 division winners plus 3 wild cards. Playoffs will be seeded NFL style with Top 2 division winners recieving 1st round bye. 3rd division winner will play wild card with worst record and the other 2 wild cards will face off in best of 5 with 2-2-1 format. Then best division winner vs team with lowest record and second division winner vs other team in best of 7. Then final 2 square off in best of 7.
Progression: Classic progress to 28. Regression starts at 32. You can also switch to current season stats each season.
Trades: 10 Deadline Day 125. Unless a trade is egregious it is league policy not to reverse trades. However in many cases everyone has a different view of egregious, so each owner will be allowed 1 appeal of a trade per season. A poll will be posted on homepage for 24 hours to decide if a trade stands or is reversed.
All Star Break Day 100 teams granted 3 days off CPU will select All Stars. Commish will fill with alternates roster will be 36 players. Each team will be represented and no team will have more than 2 alternates.
Rosters: 25 majors 15 minors
Stats: under players 200 AB SP 100 IP RP 30 IP stats will be doubled
Commish reserves right to make common sense edits to low AB/IP players
Andy Rincon/Fred Lynn Rule ^^^^ New rule 1984^^^
---
Sometimes random progression can create some statistical outliers. After each progression, I will adjust those outliers to fit within a realistic range. The current max range is...
1.250 OPS / .80 WHIP
Note: These edits are only made after progression has been run. If you have a player in the current season with better statistics, you may utilize that player's stats without worrying about him being edited until the next progression is run. Players in league prior to 1984 will be exempt.
Team Details: Owners can change logo and dimensions before season.
Schedule: 162 games
Conduct: No whining!! No drama!! a little trash talk and please stay active.
Rotation: 5 man
Retirement: Age 40 exemption if player played past 40 in real life
Sims 6 user SIM on 4 hr interval
Injuries 15 both players and pitchers
Fatigue: On
Stat Levels: Commish will attempt in first 20 games to set stat levels to reflect yearly averages for season in progress. After 20 games no adjustments will be made.
Position Changes: 2 SP to RP each season, also one secondary to primary. Deadline for requests to be made midnight central time evening prior to opening day.
Awards MVP and Cy Young chosen by CPU
Being Active: My general guidelines when removing an owner are 5 day's without logging on if you're new to PC, while I'll allow 8-10 days for more experienced owners.
