League Rules

NL Distant Replay: The lively ball era 1987-2017

Teams: 12 Teams from National League beginning in 1987. Expansion in 1993 has been decided by league poll.

Players: Teams start with 1987 rosters. For duplicate players, player will be place on team they began 1987 with. Initial season AB/IP Threshold 40/15 I'll assure each team has at least 28 players to start. I'll fill FA pool with fringe players from 1987, to help teams fill 32 man roster.

UPDATE: ROSTERS NOW AT 40, 26/14.

Rookies: Each season teams will receive rookie imports and any players acquired from American League. 50 AB and 25 IP
The commissioner reserves the right to adjust skewed stats. In most cases, an owner can keep the stats for the import year and then decide on career stats or the next real stat year.

Strike adjusted AB/IP 1981 33/16 1994 35/18 1995 44/22.

Playoffs: Each division winner plus 1 Wild Card will qualify for playoffs. teams will be seeded 1 to 4. Each series will be best of seven. Days off will be granted before and between each series and travel day after game 2 and 5, and will be 2-3-2 format.

Progression: Classic progress to 28. Regression starts at 33. You'll also have option to choose real stats from the current season we are in.  I'll override PC rule that SP must 85 IP. Just send request.

Real Stat Change: League minimums as mentioned are 50 at bats and 25 inning. Players changed to stats below these will be removed from rosters.

TRADES: 10 Deadline game 130 League will police itself. Each owner gets one appeal per season at which time it will be put to a vote

Position Changes: Each Team allowed 2 SP to RP each off season, ideally before season but usually will allow an exception

ALL STAR Break Day 105 3 days off granted. CPU will choose all Stars. Commish will choose alternates.

Awards: MVP and CY Young will be granted by CPU unless a player from Commish team is in the running. In that case the award will be decided by poll which will be posted around game 150 so turnout will be higher than if posted in off season.

Being Active: My general guidelines when removing an owner are 5 day's without logging on if you're new to PC, while I'll allow 8-10 days for more experienced owners.
