League Rules
Welcome to the 1958 season.CONDUCT:
Trash talk permitted but be nice. You can agree to disagree but if you become abusive and disrupting, you will be removed from the league.
ACTIVITY:
Looking for active owners. If you are missing in action for more than 10 days, you will be removed unless you have let me know. Also, owners are expected to do duties such as dropping players, setting lineups, etc.
ROSTERS:
Every team starts with a 40-man roster (25/15 in regular season)
BUDGETS:
All teams will have a $125 budget.
KEEPERS:
All teams will get to keep 40 players as long as they are under contract.
TRADES:
All teams will get 50 trades.
Rotation:
4 man pitching rotation.
SPRING TRAINING:
No spring training in this league.
REGULAR SEASON:
154 games.
POST SEASON:
Division Winners will face off in a best of 7 game series. Winners of American and National league championships will meet in best of 7 games for the ring.
PROGRESSION:
All players will progress using classic progression. Players will progress until age of 28, remain the same until the age of 33 and regress after that. All players can either continue with their prior stats or be switched to their real life stats for the current year. Any changes will impact a players rating.
IMPORTS:
Every team gets imports from their next year's roster as long as they are already not in league and have minimum 125 AB and 35 IP for RP and 75 for SP (Including free agents).
ADVANCEMENT OF CONTRACTS:
Signed players will remain on your roster; unsigned players will drop into free agent pool.
FA BIDDING:
FA bidding will be done blind prioritized bids via Message Box. Bid format example: Ty Cobb OF $6M/4Y=$24M
1962 Season is a chat box bidding process with a deadline for bidding on any player until a deadline chosen via owner poll. After that deadline the 24 hr. rule is in effect and no new free agents may enter the process in motion.
Minimum 2 years on Bids. Maximum 10 Years on Bids.
WAIVER ROUNDS:
Waiver rounds will be announced by Commissioner. Usually around 3 at beginning of season
DRAFT, PROSPECTS, TAGGED PLAYERS:
No draft, prospects or tagged players in this league.
RETIREMENT:
All players 40 or older that land in FA pool will be retired (deleted)
NEW OWNERS:
New owners will have the option of cutting or expanding 2 contracts.
