League Rules
1 Pre-DraftA Review the player list via the provided excel file and/or the Free Agent tab in PC. Prepare drafting list by needs, positions, etc. You can pick any of the available free agents. Keepers from previous season will be assigned to teams prior to the draft; so they will not appear on the free agent list. All returning teams may keep up to 16 players chosen in rounds 21 or higher from the 2024 draft. Players will be marked as keepers. Also, any players picked up after draft round 20, can be keepers.

6 Important Misc. Notes:
Pitching Rotation - Pitching rotation: 4 days of rest are needed between starts; so rotations will need to be at least 5 pitchers or you will often end up with tired pitchers. For example, if the #1 starter is rested when it is the 5th starters turn, the 5th starter will be skipped. The computer chooses the next rested pitcher in the priority order you list (1-5)
1 - Pitchers - set the rotation then view 3 day outlook to see what pitcher will pitch next, if unsure). Top rested pitcher will pitch next
2 - See pitchers needing rest (main "My Team" page) to determine order. Any pitchers not listed are rested and the top "rested" pitcher will pitch first
3 - For playoffs the commisioner will change days of rest needed to 3, for 4 man rotation.
Roster Size - Maximum sizes . . . . Major leagues: 26 players, Minors: 10
Trade and Free Agent signing Deadline - Trading will be open once the draft begins. Trading will be closed at about day 130. Final trades must turned in prior to day 130 (The exact date may be altered once the schedule is marked for when games are run by the commissioner)
Roster Expansion - Major League rosters will be expandable up to 32 players, after the trade deadline
Injuries - Injuries are maxed out at 50 days in the LFBL. No injured or disabled list
Players used - The best season's (as chosen by the league commissioner) are used for players from 1893 to most most recently completed MLB season.
Sending/Receiving messages - Click on the Mail box tab on the red league bar to send/view messages in this league only. Click on your user name in the top blue bar to send/view messages outside of the current league.
Post Season Awards - Awards will be assigned by PC and the commissioner: Including at least - CY Young, MVP, etc.
Some leagues use fictional player progression. To learn more about how players progress, check the Player Potential page.
