6) AAA All Star break = Game 100

DOUBLE PROGRESSION
AAA will have a double progression feature, for select players who qualify.
All players who are on a AAA roster at the end of a season will be progressed in AAA (i.e., standard offseason progression). No players on the AAA MLB Promotion Team at the end of the season will be progressed in AAA since they will be progressed in MLB.
The extra AAA progression will take place at the AAA All Star break. This progression will only be available to AAA players who meet all of the following criteria:
1. They must be in AAA at the AAA All Star break
2. Their simulated stats in AAA as of the AAA All Star break must meet or exceed the Thresholds (see point #5 in the glossary)
3. Their real stats must not be better than the following Boost CAP stats: AVG (.280), SLG % (.500) or WHIP (1.25 for SPs, 1.10 for RPs)
4. They must not be older than 24. (CAP was formerly 28)

Promotions/Demotions (tracked in "more" tab of both MLB and AAA)
* Promotions/demotions are not restricted for playoffs, to account for 40 man rosters and September call-ups.
* Teams are required to have max. 65 person rosters between MLB and AAA, with no more than 40 in either league. "Shells" are not counted as a player.
* Players with AAA in front of last name should not be promoted or played under any circumstance. These are the shells of the player who is playing in other league. This is done to maintain accuracy and integrity of player contracts, and compiled stats year over year to name a few.
* AAA players promoted to MLB will be moved to the minors on your team with MLB tag.
*Best Practice - do not promote/demote players from majors/minors unless you are confident you understand the policies and procedures.
*At the end of Spring Training, Each GM can make one "mass" list of promotions/demotions before season begins.
*During Season, Promotions/Demotions will be processed each evening to attempt to have players moves be as timely as possible. There is no guarantee on when it will be processed, and do not send requests that aren't ready to be processed (i.e please process callup for johnson after todays games. In those cases he will simply get promoted but it may or may not be at the timing you requested).
*Dropping players can be done by GM, picking up FA's is done by emailing the League office who you want to pick up. It is done this way for the one reason of making sure we can keep players synced with proper teams in both leagues (MLB and AAA).
*************************************************************************************
Payroll & Contracts:
Since contracts do not transfer when you import players, we will handle this issue as follows.
*do not sign AAA contracts! there will be no need if my foresight is accurate, and will only confuse your "contracts page". Right now, your contracts page will show only injury tags and promoted to majors tags making for an efficient way for you as GM to manage both.
*Players who have 200+ sim MLB AB's, 85+ MLB IP's for SP's, or 50+ MLB IP's for RP's for year just ended, will require a MLB contract in order to not be cut when rosters get cleared. Rookies (age 23 and under) get a rookie contract, anyone else can be signed in MLB at the terms of pennant chase contracts (1-10 yrs, 1M+ with raises or not, etc). Notify the league office if you identify players requiring rookie contracts. Keep in mind, MLB playoff stats are included in calculating if players have played over thresholds.
Demotions - Players contracts will stay intact in MLB based on their player frame not being deleted in MLB when they are imported to AAA. (I.E when a player is demoted to AAA, he is imported to AAA but he is also left in MLB with simple adjustment that he is rendered useless in pro's by changing his hits or innings value to 1).
Any behavior deemed at my discretion and league council, to violate these rules will be handly swiftly, abruptly and without recourse. I'm not sure how one might do this, but I can't see into the future so I put this just in case. :)
Team AAA budgets are currently set at 200M just in case they are needed.
Players retire at age 35, email commish or Vice if you would like to request an exception.

ROOKIE DRAFT- The amateur draft will take place on the day after game 42 in the AAA League. Players will be prospects to stock the AAA system (I.e hitters avg .120-.200 avg?s).Teams will need to rank their draftees list (top right of my team page), to ensure that they may get the players they want if they choose to automate their picks. Picks may be traded, but no more than 1 year in advance of the current season, in essence you have 6 picks to trade at any given time if you own all your picks. All trades involving picks will need to be emailed to the league office and will be pending approval, but posted to the homepage. There will be 3 rounds in the draft as a default, but case by case we may choose to add or remove rounds to balance to talent pool. To enter a live draft, click on the ?draftroom? link in red bar to top right of page.
