League Rules
ELIGIBILITY- Hitters – minimum 100 plate appearances
- Pitchers – minimum of 15 games OR 35 innings pitched
You may draft players outside these parameters, but they cannot be used in a BFSBL game unless they meet eligibility rules
FREE AGENCY
Baseline roster size is 30 players (10 retained + 20 drafted each year)
- Stage 1: Preseason. Sign retained and drafted players
- Stage 2: Preseason. Owners who couldn't stay for all 20 rounds may sign players to complete their roster up to a maximum of 30. These signees may be retained [Chris to confirm?]
- Stage 3: Preseason. If you entered the draft down picks because of trade(s), you may sign additional players up to a maximum of 30.
- Stage 4: In season: Replacements may be signed for players lost to injury or roster imbalances arising from trades. These replacements or the injured player should be released once the injured player is healthy. They cannot be retained for the next season.
