League Rules

1. So that all may understand this is a HISTORICAL LEAGUE ..rosters will be a limit of 26 players in majors and 6 players in minors.

2. (A)Trades you have up to 5 trades each season (so use them wisely)
encase of a disputed trade where at least 3 owners feel it was to lopsided
those owners must post in chat box and contact me
i will pause sims for no more than 48 hours (two days)
and our commission of 5 owners will decide within that time period if no decision is made
then the trade is valid
the commission consist of
1 baberuth21
2 mvennum
3 skooler1
4 ulster
If by chance one of these owners is involved in the disputed trade, I will step in and take
their place
2B. ALL Commission decisions are binding no appeals no arbitration


3. we will use real stats for each player season to season

4. Rookies will be brought in each year to their team following MLB minimum stats 50 AB and 20 IP (Generally, I import at 90%, or 45 and 18, and import any below minimums that seem reasonable.)
There will also be a 3 round draft of players from teams not added to the league: Currently these teams are the Blue Jays, Devil Rays, Diamondbacks, Mariners, Marlins, Rockies
Players that would import to a league team in a later year will NOT be imported to the pool unless a particular player would import later with very poor stats. In that case such a player may be added early to the pool.
Any draft having more than 3 rounds; First round will be slow


5. Injuries/rest injuries are set at a maximum of 20 days (Nov.8, 2020, revised to 15 for 1995) ;
If your starting pitching staff is under 5 pitchers due to an injury or injuries then contact me asap and i will make one or more of your relief pitchers into a starter( whip cant be any lower than 1.30) till your starter is healthy the relief pitchers stamina will go up to 80 then adjusted back afterwards

6. PITCHING ROTATIONS we currently are on five-man rotations.

7. Post Season
All Playoff series will be best of 7; best record will decide home field advantage through the world series.

8. When the commissioner needs to communicate with the entire league (i.e. Free Agency, Draft, All Star break, etc.), it will be done through a League Message to all owners and it will show in your In Box. Each individual owner is responsible for checking for league messages.

When the commissioner needs to communicate with one or more owners, but not the entire league, he will do so through private messages.

9. remember this is suppose to be fun you may raze an owner but no cursing or swearing!

10. When a season has concluded and Playoffs are finished i will message the league when the next season is ready to begin.. with that being said the expectation will be for each owner to then contact me so I will be able to determine who is active and who is not.

11. Owners are expected to check at least every other day and when season is erased set reduce roster to league limits and set lineup; league will give owners 1 week to do this after very last team has received their new roster; after that 1 week any owner who has not done as requested with the rosters WILL BE BANNED
if for any reason you will be unable to check in for an extended period of time vacation/illness etc.etc.. please notify me so i will know your still active

12. Expansion / Draft NO FURTHER EXPANSION
Real life teams not in league will have their players imported to the free agent pool or to the next team they played for in real life. Currently this includes players from the Blue Jays, Diamondbacks, Mariners, Marlins, Rays and Rockies.

Halladay Players: These are players that are imported to the league early but who will be added to a league team when their import year arrives. In the meantime, they may be drafted. A team keeps such a player for one season.

If the team then decides they want to keep the player on roster another year, and the player is not due to be added to their import team, the following rule pertaining to the draft applies:

Keeping a player ranked ...
86 or above = forfeiting a first round pick
61-85 = forfeiting a second round pick
46-60 = forfeiting a third round pick
45 and under = no forfeiture

1 ALL TEAMS WILL HAVE NO MORE THAN 27 TOTAL PLAYERS/ draft will be long enough to fill 30 man rosters. (29 and 32 used for 1995 to present)
IF YOU USE PRE - RANK BE AWARE THAT SYSTEM DOES NOT ALWAYS GO IN ORDER OF YOUR LIST
2 draft will happen as enough players are available from teams not added in expansion
doing a 3 round draft
draft picks can not be traded

13. if a player misses a season for any reason it is that teams responsibility the following
season to contact the commissioner to have that player reinstated ( or when he does actually
come back) IF NOT the player goes into the draft

14. position change request
owners may request reasonable position changes either the player played it in real life or its a position that's is plausible you cant ask for a catcher to play short stop
if an owner needs a starting pitcher you may ask for a relief pitcher to be switched his whip must be at least 1.30 or higher and his stamina will be increased to 80
reverse is true for a starting pitcher to reliever stamina will be reduced to 40
15..DRAFT
teams will set their rosters to 27 players total; we will then have a 3 round live draft at a certain day and time
if an owner can not be there then please pre-rank
16...TIE BREAKER
Determining Home-Field Advantage in Two-Team Tiebreakers

1. Head-to-head winning percentage during the regular season.
2. Higher winning percentage in intradivision games.
3. Higher winning percentage in intraleague games.
4. Higher winning percentage in the last half of intraleague games.
5. Higher winning percentage in the last half plus one intraleague game, provided that such additional game was not between the two tied clubs. Continue to go back one intraleague game at a time until the tie has been broken.
