League Rules
League Rules (UPDATED AUGUST 2025)? This league uses real players, real stats, and real progression. Players are eligible for the league if they had 50 real at-bats or pitched 25 real innings in the corresponding year.
? Rookies will be assigned to teams based on the team they played for the most in the season they first become eligible (at least 50 at-bats or 25 nnings pitched; player seasons not in the PC database will not be added).
? NNL players will be added to the free agency for that years draft. 1920 to 1948.
50/25 minimum will be used.
? Players remain with the team that they join as rookies (or that they began the league with in 1901) or until they are traded or dropped.
? In a situation where a player makes no appearances, then has a year or more "retired" (i.e. not enough "real" stats to qualify for this league), and returns in a future season based on real stats with another team, the player will go to the latter team. In order to keep from losing a player in this situation, teams need to give the player at least one appearance so that there will be a record of this on his player card. If a team fails to do this, they can send a message to the commissioner regarding the player before player progression removes the player from their roster.
? The schedule will be generated via the standard PC programed schedules with no days off except for three at the all-star break and the randomly generated days off (See the Schedule section below). Fatigue is used, so some players will need to be rested at times.
? Owners may request pitcher conversions. Any Starter can be converted to a Relief Pitcher. Pitch Count will be changed by commissioner.
(1901 to undetermined ~ 3 Pitchers may be changed to RP)
? Any Starting Pitcher that has 10 complete games and is under 95 pitch count can be changed.
10 complete games 100 pitch count
11 complete games 110 pitch count
12 complete games 120 pitch count and ect.

? Waivers will be used (set by league standings)
? Players may be dropped at any time.

? User simming is on, so after 4 hours, any owner can sim games.

? When an owner wants to switch teams (either trade teams with another owner, or take over an open team), a league poll will be posted asking owners if they approve or disapprove of the move. A majority of those who vote must approve in order for an owner to switch teams.
FAQs
One of the important things to know about this league is homework. Know who is going to be on your roster and who is going to get hurt or retire. It's good to plan at least a couple of seasons in advance. Make a trade if you are going to be short in a position or on pitching. Know when to hold onto someone and who to release if you will be getting an abundance of rookies.
