League Rules

Welcome!


⚾BASIC FORMAT AND SEASONAL RULES: Each owner will draft two teams. One from the National League and one from the American League to build your roster.
Each teams 1960 season will be imported to your roster and you will have the option to stat change any player to either 1959 or 1961.
Duplicate players will not permitted do to the players are all coming in at the same year. The team that player has the most AB will keep the player.
In season two, we will be importing the 1962 season of players who are not already in the league.

⚾OWNERS EXPECTATIONS: Please be an Active in running your team. Read messages once per day, meet all deadlines, and communicate any difficulties to the commissioner. Please be active, if not active for 14 days you may be removed from the league.
If you're going to be away from your team for any pro-long absents, be sure to message the commissioner with how long you believe you will be unavailable. Inactivity for ten (10) days, or repeated failure to meet deadlines, may result in your being booted from the league.

⚾DIVISIONS: The league will consist of two 4 team divisions. East and West.

⚾SCHEDULE: This league will play a 154 game schedule. There be an auto day-off every 9 games, worked into the schedule.

⚾ON-FIRE FORMULA: This league will use the WAR formula for fire.

⚾ROSTERS: All players with al least 80AB and 25 IP will be imported for year one. Stat change for season one will also be set at the season 1 imports minimums. Roster will be capped at 40 players. 27 in the active roster and 13 in the minors. The league will use a 5 man rotation. Every owner is expected to field a team with 9 pitchers and 11 fielders for every game. Failure to do so, causes the games not to sim and will results in a forfeit for the team in violation.

⚾SECONDARY POSITION CHANGES: You may request a position change of any position player that is listed on the players card without any penalty of loss to the players' dwar. You may change any SP to RP, with the understanding that his pitch count will be reduced to 40 pitches. You may change any RP to SP who has a history of any IP on his stats for the season you want to make the change. Remember, his pitch count will remain the same. During an off season, a position player can be switched to the position they played most in their career. I will set his dwar defensive numbers he has at that position. You can switch a DH to his secondary position, as long as he has a fielding percentage.

⚾TRADES: Trading will be permitted. Trades will be limited to 2 players from each team per trade. Treading deadline will be game 100. You will unlimited trades per season. Any owner can challenge the fairness of a trade. A trade review committee will be establish before the league begins. If there is a tie due to one of the committee members excuses themselves from voting, the commissioner will then make the final decision.

⚾FREE AGENCY: There will be no FA/Waivers or supplement drafts in this league. All imports will be from yearly team imports.

⚾FATIGUE: Fatigue will not be used in this league. Injuries will be 3 games for position players and 5 games for pitchers.

⚾SLUMP BUSTERS: Slump buster will be set a max of 10 days per player.

⚾PLAY-OFFS: 6 teams make the playoffs. Division winners will receive a first round bye. The next 2 teams in each division with the best records will be in the Wild Card round. All ties for any play-off spot will be determined by Head-To-Head and one game play-off for division winners. For wild card ties, Head-To-Head and then team point differential will determine wild card teams. The division winner will always be the home team in the division championship series. The team with the best record will host the league championship series. All wild card games will be 5 game series. 2-2-1. All divisional and league championship series will be 7 game series 2-3-2.

⚾OFF-SEASON TASKS:
PROGRESSION: All players will be progressed until the age of 29 and start regression at the age of 32. We will be using classic progression
IMPORTS AND STAT CHANGE: Starting in 1962, all players for import will need a minimum of 100AB and 30 IP who are not already in the league to be eligible. You will be able to stat change a max of 3 players per season. If you choose not to use all 3 available to you, you will loose the ones you do not use. A player must have a minimum 100AB and 30IP to be stat changed. If you stat change a player below these numbers, I will reimport him at his last season progression. Season one only, stat change minimums are 80 AB and 25 IP.

ELASTIC CLAUSE: I reserve the right to create new rules as necessary to deal with problems as they arise.
