League Rules
Welcome! This will be a non-contract league. There will be two 8-team leagues; each with 2 divisions of 4 teams each. Each division winner will make the playoffs. All playoff series will be best of seven.
Player acquisition and rosters: Rosters must be cut to 26/9 as spring training begins; if you have more than 35 players, you must make cuts. After those cuts, and when the season starts, rosters will increase to 26/14, and waivers will begin after game 1 based on record,
Players are yours until you trade or cut them.
Each team will get their imports each season. Classic progression will be used. Teams may stat change, ANYBODY! 35 IP, 100 AB minimum.
You may not trade players between your teams. You may not release a player from one of your teams, then sign him on your other team (except through the draft.) This is a boot-able offense.
4-man rotations will be used through 1974; beginning in 1975 a 5-man rotation will be used. Injury maximums are 8 (position players) and 11 (pitchers) – during season 2; no injuries season 1.
Minimums: Pitchers: 20 IP (1968), 25 IP (1969), and 30 IP (1970 and after). Batters: 30 AB (1968), 60 AB (1969), and 100 AB (1970 and after)
A 162-game season will be used.
Playoffs:
Ties: If teams tie for a playoff spot:
⇒ If both teams would be “in”, use head to head record as a tiebreaker.
⇒ If one is in, the other is out, 1 game playoff (@ head 2 head winner)
GENERAL RULES: Each offseason, you can switch a SP to RP based on need. You can switch a player’s primary and secondary positions if they played 50% or more games THAT season at their secondary position, or at least a third of their games for their career at their secondary position.
Each player should only be on one team. If there are any issues about which team a player is on, it must be raised before the season starts. Once games begin, and a player has "been in uniform" for a game for a team, the right to appeal is quashed.

Imports: Your next year's players will be imported on your roster as long as they are not already in the league.
