League Rules

Infinity and Beyond
Commissioner: BlueJay2
Vice-Commissioner: DukeBlues

1. DRAFT -- You pick a team of your choice that has not already in the league when you join the league. All players entering the league will have to minimum stats for entry. 125 AB, 85 IP for starters and 35 IP for relief pitchers.

2. TEAM DETAILS -- Be sure to modify any team details, such as Name, Logo, Park, etc. before the league fills and the season starts. Team details will lock about one week into the season. This will be a two division league.

3. SEASON START -- After the final team joins and drafts, games will begin soon, and you will be notified by email. Be sure to set your lineup, strategy and team details if you haven't done so already.

4. FINAL ROSTER SIZE -- When the games begin, the roster limit will be set to a final 26. You MUST HAVE AT LEAST 11 POSITIONAL PLAYERS (NON-PITCHERS). If you do not, the commissioner must make changes to your roster in order to play the season. pitchers.

5. PITCHERS -- It is highly recommended you carry five starters. Starters typically need four games to recover, and tired pitchers will suffer on the mound. ** You will not be able to change stats to a season where a starter pitched less than 85 innings. (You may see SPs with less than 85 innings in a single-season league.) You may change any starting pitcher to a relief pitcher. His pitch count will be reduced to 30 pitches. His fire points will not be effected.

6. TRANSACTIONS, FREE AGENCY, ETC -- Teams can sign free agents and drop players after Game 1 to fill their 25-man roster. Teams can make up to 5 trades, starting after Game 6. When trading, you can involve a maximum of 5 players from each team.
We will use the no cut list in this league. These rules are in place to keep things fair and to discourage taking of top players. Please act responsibly. Heavy unfair trading will be watched my the commissioner's office. We will use the waiver system on all free agents signing. You make pick up one player per waiver round.

7. SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT -- There no supplemental draft once the season starts.

8. MINOR LEAGUES -- Once the season begins, you'll have five spots in the minor leagues. You can add players until your minors is full, then you must drop a player before you can add a new one.

9. TRADING DEADLINE -- At the end of day 129, before the post-season, the Trade Center will close. Free Agency closes after game 25. Each team will be no more than 5 trades per season.

10. PLAYER HEALTH --There will no fatigue or injuries in this league.

11. SANDBAGGING -- Do not attempt to place players outside of their primary or secondary positions, or you will see a high error rate. A non-catcher playing catcher will allow your opponent to steal bases at will. Sandbag at your own risk! You may request a player to be switched to his secondary position, without any Dwar penalty.

12. TIEBREAKERS --Team differential will be used in this league to break all ties. If by any chance there is still a tie, a one game play-off will be used.

13. SCHEDULE -- We will use 162 game schedule. All sim games will be set at 4 hours apart.

14. POST-SEASON -- The division winners and 1 wild card team from each division will make the play-offs. All play-off series will be 7 games using the 2-3-2 format. Three days off before the post-season starts. The wild-card game winner gets one day off after the wild-card game, which means other playoffs teams will get a full five days rest before their first games. Playoff teams will be granted a day off in-between all home and home series, and two days off before the World Series. Teams that win their first round faster than the other series will be given as many extra days off as it takes the other series to finish.

15. NEXT SEASON --This is a KEEPER league, your players are your until your drop them or trade them. There is no retirement age in this league. You will decide when they retire by dropping them.
We will use C progression in this league. All players will progress until the age of 29 and begin regression at the age of 32. Since this has players with random seasons, you will have the option to move them to their next season chronologically each pre-season after progression.

Some leagues use fictional player progression. To learn more about how players progress, check the Player Potential page.
