The league mission is to determine a league champion using the process of elimination. The league will last for a total of fifteen seasons.

There are two divisions comprised of 15 teams each.
There will be a slow draft utilized to fill rosters. The initial player pool consists totally of fictional players.
There will be no eliminations in season one. This season will be for owners to assess their teams and to make trades.
Eliminations will begin in season two. The owners of the teams in each division with the worst record at the end of the regular season will be removed from the competition. In the event of a tie for elimination there will be a best of seven death series to determine who goes and who stays. In the event of multiple teams being tied the lowest winning percentage in games involving only the tied teams will be the determining factor.
Each season after season one will see two owners leaving the competition. Teams without an owner will continue to operate. Teams without an owner will be auto-picked during the draft.
Season 15 will start with only two owners in each division. Once the season is concluded the top team in each division will play a best of seven World Series to determine the overall league title.

If an owner leaves prior to the end of season one, a new owner will be recruited to replace him. If an owner leaves after game one of season two, he will not be replaced. The worst team in that division will be granted amnesty and will be allowed to continue in the competition. Should multiple owners from the same division leave in the same season, the amnesty process will continue until there is an equal amount of owners in each division.

In the event of a first place divisional tie there will be a one game playoff tiebreaker game to determine who plays in the World Series.

Playoffs will consist of the World Series only with the exception of tie breaker games.

PC BUCKS:
PC Bucks are the league currency.

SPENDING PC BUCKS:
There are two ways that you can spend your PC Bucks.
1. BLIND AUCTIONS
Each off season beginning with the completion of season six, certain players from the eliminated teams will be put up for bid. The bidding process will be in the form of a blind auction, with owners sending bids through private message to the commissioner. These bids will remain unopened until the auction has ended. The winning bid will be deducted from the owner's account and the owner receives that player.
Losing bids will not be deducted.
2. FIRE POINTS
You may purchase fire points with your PC Bucks and assign them to any player of your choice. These fire points remain with the player for the entirety of the competition.
The cost for one fire point is 3 PC Bucks.
A player's total fire points may not exceed 40.

EARNING PC BUCKS:
There are three ways that an owner can earn PC Bucks.
1. STANDINGS REWARD
Bucks will be awarded at the end of each season according to the owner's position in the standings.
WS winner - 15
WS loser- 14
Second place in division - 13
Third place in division - 12
Fourth place in division - 11
Fifth place in division - 10
Sixth place in division - 9
Seventh place in division - 8
Eighth place in division - 7
Ninth place in division - 6
Tenth place in division - 5
Eleventh place in division - 4
Twelfth place in division - 3
Thirteenth place in division - 2
Fourteenth place in division - 1
For all ties in the standings not involving elimination, a one game playoff will be used to determine position for rewards.
In the event that more than two teams are tied, positions will be awarded by records involving games played solely between those teams. The next tiebreaker would be total run differential in all games played.
2. SMACKDOWN
Owners can earn PC Bucks by correctly predicting the owners they think will be eliminated in the upcoming season.
Smackdown will start in the first off season.
All predictions must be received prior to the first simulation of the new season.
Owners will receive one Buck for getting one owner correct, three Bucks if they get both owners correct.
3. INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
Owners that have a player that wins the MVP or Cy Young Award will receive two Bucks for each award.

PC Bucks account balances will be maintained on the league home page.

CUTTHROAT:
In a league of this nature, tanking is a viable strategy.....do good enough to not be eliminated but poorly enough that you get a good draft pick. There is a remedy for that.....
Each season the World Series winner is guaranteed the last pick in the draft. However, as a reward for winning, the World Series winner gets to determine the draft order for that off season.
The draft will be two rounds.
Fifty percent of the players in the draft will be of the All Star/Superstar variety, the other 50 percent will not.
Put your best foot forward.

TRADING:
Trading will be permitted each season until game 120.
Trades will be monitored by the commissioners. Any trade that seems unfair or has the appearance of collusion will be overturned.
PC Bucks can be used as part of a trade. All involved owners must message the commissioner, agreeing to the amount of Bucks to be transferred.
Due to the nature of the league, the trading of future draft picks will not be permitted. Current season draft picks may be traded but only during the draft.

SIM SPEED:
Regular season sims will run every three hours. Playoff participants can opt for more time between sims during their playoff series.

SLUMP BUSTER:
Slump buster has been set to last 10 calendar days.

INJURY & FATIGUE SETTINGS:
The maximum amount of time a player can be injured is eight games.
Fatigue has been turned on.

ROSTER SIZE:
Rosters will be 23 players in the majors, three players in the minors.
Each off season, one major league and one minor league spot will be added to every team's roster. This will happen every off season until rosters reach 30/10. Subsequent drafts will require that players be dropped from the roster to make room for draftees.

Team names and logos are the owner's choice....please be respectful with your selections.

PLAYER PROGRESSIONS
Progressions are set to random. Peak will be age 28, regression will start at age 33.
Age 40 is the final season for players.

Some leagues use fictional player progression. To learn more about how players progress, check the Player Potential page.
