PLAYER AVAILABILITY

Free Agent Bidding via Chat Box

Bidding Details:
* List the player(s) you are bidding on like so: OF Joe DiMaggio $8/10 = $80
* BIDS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM CONTRACT VALUE OF $20
* Maximum years: 10
* Bids, once made, cannot be revoked.
* Free agency will last a minimum of 48 hours. After that, bids on players will end 24 hours after the last valid bid is made on any player.
* The highest total dollar amount wins a player. To outbid someone, you must offer more total dollars. If two bids have the same amount of total dollars offered, the one who bid it first wins the player.
*Each owner is responsible for knowing how many contracts and how much money he has left in his budget. Consequently, each owner is then responsible for not bidding more than he has or signing more than 40 contracts. Anyone who bids more money than exists in his available budget or over signs the # of contracts will have ALL of his bids vacated, he will win ZERO free agents and those players will stay in the free agent pool for waiver claims.
* If free agency runs into a lengthy process, and there are only a couple of players still receiving bids, the Commissioner's office reserves the right to invite those bidders to submit one sealed bid on the player(s) involved to resolve the process in a more efficient manner.

Free Agency
Waiver Claims runs after each regular season game beginning with game 1. Waiver order is based on roster strength at the time - weakest to strongest.

Imports
Your next season’s players will be imported on your roster as long as they are not already in league.
Import Minimums: 35 IP, 100 AB

Trades
There is no limit to the trades that owners can make each season. Trading is turned on after Imports. Trade Deadline is after Game 140. Games will be paused at that time for approximately 24 hours for any last minute transactions.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

Classic Progression
All players on rosters and in free agents progress up to age 28 and then begin to regress at 32.

Contracts
Players can be originally signed to a maximum contract of 10 years. When the contract expires, the player can be extended one time on a limited extension (see below). However, teams acquiring a player under contract can extend the contract up to 5 years. Owners must contact the commissioner’s office regarding any extensions. In the case of an extension resulting from a trade, the owner will have a 3 day window to request the extension. Requests after that time will not be granted.

Limited Extensions
* Players must be on a roster for at least 5 seasons before they can be considered for a contract extension.
* Only 1 player per team per offseason can be submitted for a contract extension.
* Players can be extended up to 5 additional seasons.
* A player can only be extended once in his career as a result of an offseason extension NOTE: He may still be extended as a result of a trade.
* Players will be tagged as extended in order to stay in accordance with the 1 time limitation.

Owners must contact the commissioner’s office with their extension request

Real Stat Switch
Owners can choose 3 players to have their stats switched from their progressed stats to their actual MLB stats of the current season. 100 AB / 75 SIP / 40 RIP will be the minimums for stat changes. Owners must contact the commissioner’s office prior to the first pitch of the season regarding stat change requests.
