League Rules

Welcome to the 1901 league. This is a historical league based on real players and teams. Team owners can use any real name for a franchise -- for example, if you own the present day Baltimore Orioles, you can call then the Milwaukee Brewers, the St Louis Browns, or the Baltimore Orioles.
This will be a contract league with contracts, budgets and FA Bidding.
12 favorite teams of 1901 will make up the league. The rest will make up the free agent pool with young players.
Rosters will be 26/9
Budgets will be $150 per team
There will be 35 keepers per team allowed.
4 man pitching rotation
No draft, prospects or tagged players in this league
70 AB/ 25 IP required for players in the league. Low AB/IP players will be assigned to a holding team as ineligible reserves once I figure out how to do it until they have enough stats to be eligible.
No spring training in this league.
There will be 160 games played.
Championship games will be best of 7 between East and West.
World Series will be between these winners in a 7 game series

OFF SEASON DUTIES:

Classic progression after world series. For any year season, you may choose between the progressed stats and that season's actual stats for a given player. If you want the actual stats, you must inform the commissioner by the deadline.

Imports: Your next years players will be imported on your roster as long as they are not already on a team in the league.

Advancement of contracts.
