🔷Recruiting
The life blood of this game.
A) Weekly deadlines will be announced.
B) Mandatory owners participate as inactive recruiting will negatively affect game play.

Process:
College games are held on Wednesday/Thursday and Saturday/Sunday.
Recruiting deadlines for each week are:
Determined via message each week. Teams must submit their Mid-Week recruiting request.
1st week -2nd week > Mid-Week and Weekend Recruiting Budgets = 50
3rd week - 5th week > Mid-Week and Weekend Recruiting Budgets = 100
6th week ? 8th week > Mid-Week and Weekend Recruiting Budgets = 200
9th week > Mid-Week and Weekend Recruiting Budgets = 150
10th week > Mid-Week and Weekend Recruiting Budgets = 120

Conference Tournament week > Recruiting Budgets = 100
World Series Week = 100
(Recruiting Budget $ DOES NOT carry any unused $ forward.)

Tier System
$10 = Phone Call (all prospects available for phone call.)
- Universities may only call a player one time per recruiting period (each Mid-Week or Weekend).
$30 = In-Home Visit
- Must ?invest? $30 cumulative into a recruit prior to submitting an ?In-Home Visit? wish list.
- Not guaranteed
- Recruit can have a max of 3 in home visits in one week of season.
- Universities may only visit a player one time per recruiting period (each Mid-Week or Weekend) and twice the entire season.
- Begins week 4.

Recruits- Interest
Each season, the total number of in season recruitable players available during the season will be range between 20-40 total players (finals total announced prior to season beginning). Another 120-160 will be available for the ?College Player Draft?. Grand total of 150+ freshman eligible to join the database each off-season.

The 20-30 recruits available to be recruited during the season may have interest established prior to the recruiting season. For instance, approximately 6 will want to play close to home, 6 will want to play for a national champion contender, 6 will want immediate playing time?..
"Rise and Grind Syndicate" Recruits that are available for in-season recruiting will show their interest and schools they have ?Heavy Interest?; ?Medium Interest?; and ?Low Interest? in.

Some teams/owners are not able to participate in the recruiting. To make this league a little more forgiving for owners who do not give the weekly effort needed to recruit, they will now "draft" one player from a second tier of players in a "supplemental" draft. Keep in mind, the 2nd tier players are NOT rated as high as the recruits. This is simply an avenue to keep all teams competitive and if we have an owner who does drop out, we have a method to keep their team with some talent for the future.

🔷Magic 8 Ball
In the One Shining Moment League, recruits have decision to commit or not. This decision is made via the Magic 8 Ball system that puts YOU in the driver's seat. YOU, the PC player, will make a prediction on an upcoming event. We will, primarily, use baseball games (NCAA, MLB & PC), but we will also use the NFL, NBA, College Football, College Basketball and only God knows what else will come to my mind. Here's an example of how this will work:

Example ? University of Minnesota offers a scholarship to Player X. There is a 50/50 chance the player accepts. Magic 8 Ball is activated. Magic 8 Ball in this game is different than anything you may have seen. In the One Shining Moment League, the PC player submits a prediction in real time. If that prediction is correct, the PC player signs the recruit. If not, the PC player must wait for another opportunity for his University to offer the recruit a scholarship. For instance, on 4/10/21 the Yankees visit the Rays. Which team will win? You can choose: Yankees or Rays.

🔷Draft
A) 10-12 Rounds Slow Draft format. Number of rounds announced prior to draft opening each year.
B) Each successful recruit that commits prior to draft will be one less pick counting from the last round to round 1.
C) Example: University of Michigan signs 2 recruits during the season and there are 10 draft rounds. U of M would not get a 9th or 10th round pick. Keep in mind, these committed recruits WILL be higher ranked than the draft eligible players in the 9th and 10th round so recruiting is more productive than drafting.
D) Draft Order:
-Round 1 ONLY (slow draft): 1st Pick > National Champion; 2nd Pick > World Series Runner Up; 3rd Pick > Final Four Team with best seed; 4th Pick > Final Four Team with worse seed; 5th Pick > World Series Team eliminated in first round with best seed; 6th Pick > World Series Team eliminated in first round with worse seed; 7th pick on > Team with best PC ranking in order.
-Round 2-4 (live draft) > worst team picks first in consecutive order (traditional draft order) based upon last season's won/loss %.
-Round 5-10 (slow draft) > worst team picks first in consecutive order (traditional draft order) based upon last season's won/loss %.
-Slow Draft = 8 hour time limit.
