Rules for Turn Back Time

Rosters
Rosters will be set to 25 major and 6 minor. Each season your rosters must have those numbers. If you are over those limits you must drop players. Any play you drop goes to the Free Agent pool. Anyone can grab players that have been drop to the pool.

This is a keepers league. The only way to lose players is by trade or dropping players to meet the minimums.

Sims
Sims will be 10 game a day. Monday to Sunday.

Games
We will play 154 games a season.
After 1960 we will play 162 games.

Injuries
Injuries will be set to 50 games for hitters and pitchers.

Trades/ FA
Please try to make the trades fair ones.
Trades will be set to 50 and you will have till game 120 to finalize all trades.
You will have till game 120 as well for adding a free agent to your team.

Playoffs
The leagues will be divided into 2 divisions, East and West.
There will be a playoff with the top 2 teams of each division in each league.
A 7 game series will be played. Home field goes to the team with the most wins. If there is a tie it will be most runs scored.

World Series
There will be a 7 game series played to see who is the best.
Home field goes to the team with the most wins. If there is a tie it will be most runs scored.

Rookie minimums
To enter the league as a rookie you will need to have the min of 30 innings pitched and 200 at bats. If your rookie doesn?t have those numbers they will not be imported to your team.

Rookie split season
If you get a rookie and he played for 2 teams his rookie season, that rookie will go to the team that he had the most at bats/innings pitched. So each season I upload rookies to your teams. It will be the owners responsibility to let me know before the season starts if a rookie had a split season and should belong to you.

Pitching
What makes a starter. They must have 100 innings or better. If a starters stamina is under 80 I will make the stamina 80 for the min that they may have.

What makes a reliever. They must have 99 innings or less to be a starter. The stamina for relievers will be 30-50. If your pitcher is a starter in career but as a rookie his innings is under 99 then he will be labeled as a reliver. You may always change that the next season when his numbers are better.

If a reliever is one his entire career but he has pitched over a 100 innings, it is on the owner to let me know so I may correct it. I?m not perfect and letting me know is appreciated.

For relivers in the 1970?s and going foward, such as fingers, Lyle, goosage and others that are relivers but have over 99 innings because of the way baseball changed the pitching aspect they will still be a reliver.

Awards
I will have everyone vote on the top 3 players for Cy young, MVP and Rookie of the Year.
I will also have awards for the following,
Triple crown
Batting Champion
HR Champion
Stolen Bases
Strikeouts

Changing stats
Each season you will be able to change all your players stats to the next year.
Please use the baseball reference link to see your players stats. Sometimes regular progression might be better for players then other players and sometimes the next years stats are better then the progression. But that?s on the owners to make their decision.

Progression/ Regression
That will be set to 28 progression and 32 regression.

Age limits
I believe the lowest age to be imported is 17 BUT they must meet the import requirements.
All players will retire at the age of 40. They will complete that season of 40 then be retired when the season is over.

Rotation
We will have a 4 man rotation. Not sure if I want a 5 man rotation later on but we can always vote on it.
