League Rules
The League will begin in 1979. Rosters have been initially loaded with players from original NFL teams from the 1970s.You may re-name your team and logo.
CONTRACTS and BUDGET
Each team has a budget of $400m.
A max of 25 players can be signed for up to 6 years to fill your team's Budget.
FRANCHISE PLAYERS
Each team may request 1 player as a franchise player that they may keep until retirement. The franchise player will not have a salary, and will not count against the cap. The franchise tag may be removed from a player after he reaches age 32.
RETIREMENT
Players will retire at age 39 years old.
SEASON
The Season will be 18 games long. Sims will be run every 24 hours, 1 per day.
Two teams from each conference will make the Playoffs. There will be a conference Championship Game and a Superbowl.
POST SEASON
Rosters will be advanced, players will be progressed. Players will progress until age 28 and digress beginning at age 32.
DRAFT
New players will be added to the free agent pool each season with All Stars from that year's actual NFL rookie pool. The players will be added using the stats from their optimal season.
We will open player rankings and we will run a series of Eight (8) - 1 round supplemental drafts.
Free Agency will then be opened to fill rosters.
